Back when I was bussing to work, I always found it interesting that my inside-the-beltway metro Ninnesota district couldn't find a voting site within 2/3 of a mile of a bus stop. Coincidence, I suppose.

The problem is that today's tea partiers see themselves as a modern day version of the one described in that post and actually think they're doing all those brave and noble things. Irrational beliefs are a major aspect of the modern tea party movement.

Any group who would put the likes of Palin as their leader has serious problems. The more I see of the clips of her speech, the more ridiculous she appears.

Say what you mean. Mean what you say. But don't say it mean.

Nuking the taxpayers...How much will nuclear cost U.S. citizens? - http://www.grist.org/article/how-much-will-nu...
Current price estimate for a new reactor: $10 billion The nonpartisan Congressional Budget Office’s estimate of the risk of default on these loans, leaving taxpayers to pick up the tab: 50 percent Potential risk exposure to taxpayers based on various proposed scenarios for new nuclear plant construction, as calculated by the Union of Concerned Scientists: $360 billion to $1.6 trillion
Year in which Forbes called the previous round of nuclear plant construction “the largest managerial disaster in business history, a disaster on a monumental scale:” 1985 Estimated additional amount it would cost to generate electricity today from 100 new nuclear reactors instead of generating the same amount of power from a combination of energy efficiency and renewables: $1.9 trillion to $4.1 trillion

ACCCE Hires New PR Firm With Bush Ties To Push Coal - http://www.desmogblog.com/accce-hires-new-pr-...
The American Coalition for Clean Coal Electricity (ACCCE) has hired two new public relations firms to hock its message in the wake of the disastrous job done by Bonner & Associates.
ACCCE has retained HDMK, a PR firm with very strong ties to former President George W. Bush and the Republican Party, to manage its national media efforts, while Dan Ronayne, a managing director of the Howard Consulting Group, was retained to work with regional reporters.
HDMK is run by Terry Holt, the national campaign spokesperson for George W. Bush in the 2004 election and the former spokesman for House Minority Leader John Boehner.
Other HDMK partners include Trent Duffy, a former deputy press secretary to President George W. Bush, Jim Morrell, former deputy chief of staff to the House Republican Conference and a speechwriter for former Speaker of the House Dennis Hastert (R-IL), and Chad Kolton, another long-time Republican communications operative who served in the Bush administration as press secretary at the OMB and FEMA.

A slight breach in ideology of the tea-party movement, is the just war theory.

This is all quite understandable when one thinks with their heart instead of their brain and vice versa. After all... the word "brain" appears nowhere in the bible.

After all the divisiveness in humanity comes to fruition maybe then the truth will be self-evident. :-/
