A Message From Howard Dean: "Don't Blow It"

Over the last few days Governor Dean has been barnstorming swing states helping to get out the vote for Democratic candidates. Just over the last weekend Governor Dean's visited North Dakota, Minnesota, Washington, Oregon and today Governor Dean fired up the troops for Barack Obama in Arizona.
There's no question that we're not leaving anything on the table and not taking any vote for granted. But you need to do your part too. The time for rallies and speeches is over so Governor Dean recorded a short message from the road asking you to make sure to get out the vote today and tomorrow.

let's remind all democrats and obama supporters that THEY HAVE TO VOTE. don't stay home because a poll says your boy is gonna win. prove to the US that he will. make sure to vote tomorrow!
and get there early, there might be long lines and possible voting obstacles.

Ok everyone, its November 3rd It’s the eve before one of the biggest days in our nations History. This is also probably the biggest day in our last 8 years. We’ve been lied to, we’ve been divided, we have received information about whatever they (our current government) wanted is to know. We thought we was giving a president the permission to protect us (after 911), when in essence all we did was give permission to fight or to avenge a Vendetta. It started off in Afghanistan & moved to Iraq. Why?? Because Sadaam funded the attack. (C’mon men) It’s a shame we got so much false information, when so many lives were at stake. Farenheight gave many, if not all of us the extra dots we needed to connect in a picture we knew they existed in. Now!!! We’ve lost hope. We don’t trust (we cant trust, we’re constantly lied to) the democracy we supposedly live in is conveniently taken away from us as soon as we go against the grain so to speak (the 2004 debacle in Florida). It’s not Freedom of choice, when our minds are made up off Facts. But even worst when the facts are really only what we are allowed to know. We Really need to take a stand NOW!!! We have to say Know more. Black, White, Asian, Hispanic, we are all in this together and we must Stop allowing these Color lines (Red/Blue) divide us. That’s all they do. Lets just keep in Mind; they wont give us Information (power) to hurt them. But they seem to be a little Uncomfortable now. Why?? Because the same oppressed race that in many Circles is looked down upon has made a Change. My Dad always said, (R.I.P. Poppa) we can’t hurt the man physically, the only way you can is by learning, and being smart. That hurts them more than anything. We have that ya’ll. We have a Harvard Graduate that truly understands. Despite his Law Degree the eloquence of his speech, he is spoken to us as a smooth talker. How do you condemn intelligence? Whatever it takes to divide our opinions. But that’s why we have to come together. We have to Break all Racial Barriers & Political Color lines (they don’t think we can / will) & Unite for a serious Change…

DO NOT...stay home tomorrow if it goes Obama in the east first! I love the word 'Landslide'.
He will need a landslide, else the GOP will do their best to undermine an Obama presidency, as they will claim he has no clear "mandate."
Obviously, normal people would not step down to such demagoguery if the previous president would have claimed to have a "mandate" with just a few thousand more votes than his opponents. But let's be clear: the GOP storm troopers ain't normal, decent people.
Not that I am thrilled with the Dems either, but a veto proof majority in the houses would allow Obama to enact some much needed legislation to undo some of the damages. Of course, he will have to play the conciliatory card.
So far, I am very impressed with Obama's caliber, I am not too in sync with his policies/views (I am a liberal after all). But the guy has impressive smarts...

I've been thinking we must owe a lot of where we are to his work behind the scenes.
Already voted in Washington state. In fact I sent my ballot in nearly 2 weeks ago. It's time each state move to an absentee ballot system so these insane lines (which do amount to a poll tax) go away.

Howard Dean has been fantastic. If I was to say that HD was simply doing what should have been done during previous elections, that would imply that TERRY McAULIFFE IS A FRIGGIN IDIOT!!!!
Why would anyone want that imbecile to be on their team is beyond me. It's like wanting to join the Oakland Raiders as head coach!
McCain is gonna win as the Republicans steal another election.
What Americans are going to do about it will be the real story.
Washington isn't a swing state.
