James Morrison -- The Pieces Don't Fit Anymore

I can't explain why it's not enough
Cause I gave it all to you
And if you leave me now
Oh just leave me now
It's the better thing to do
It's time to surrender
It's been too long pretending
There's no use in trying
When the pieces don't fit anymore

The talk is on the Super-committee this Sunday, with its recommendations due this Wednesday. Almost all the shows have booked a member to talk about those oh-so-necessary sacrifices that each American needs to make. Don't get me wrong...the country needs desperately to move to a different, more equitable track. I just don't see anyone on the Super-committee having the integrity or courage to really make the necessary changes. When one in three Americans are at or near the poverty level, giant corporation Verizon gets tax rebates, regular people are pepper sprayed for simply exercising their constitutional right to non-violent protests, and everything the Republicans do is to keep one percent of the population from paying just a few percentage points more in taxes, let's face it: the pieces don't fit anymore.

ABC's "This Week" - Sens. Marco Rubio, R-Fla., and Chris Coons, D-Del.; Chicago Mayor Rahm Emanuel.

NBC's "Meet the Press" - Sens. Jon Kyl, R-Ariz., and John Kerry, D-Mass.

NBC's "The Chris Matthews Show" - Panel: Helene Cooper, Lizzie O'Leary, Dan Rather, John Heilemann. Topics: Obama and Romney Are Already Running Against Each Other. Will Some Big Sports Universities Do Anything To Keep the Magic Going?

CBS' "Face the Nation" - Sens. Pat Toomey, R-Pa., and Joe Manchin, D-W.Va.; Republican presidential candidate Ron Paul.

CNN's "State of the Union" - Sen. Patty Murray, D-Wash.; former Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice.

CNN's "Fareed Zakaria GPS" - Israeli Defense Minister Ehud Barak; roundtable with Former UK Foreign Minister David Miliband, Financial Times Chief Economics Commentator Martin Wolf, and Editor of Prospect Magazine Bronwen Maddox.

CNN's "Reliable Sources" - Penn State scandal with Sara Ganim, Marisa Guthrie, Eric Deggans and David Zurawik. Political headlines with Washington Post’s Nia-Malika Henderson, Current TV’s David Shuster, and the National Review’s Robert Costa.

"Fox News Sunday" - Reps. Jeb Hensarling, R-Texas, and Xavier Becerra, D-Calif.

So what's catching your eye this morning?
