This Week with George Stephanopoulos notes the passings of fashion critic Mr. Blackwell, Mr Olympia contest founder Ben Weider and newsman William Headline as well as 9 servicemembers killed in Iraq and Afghanistan. According to icasualties, the total number of allied servicepeople killed in Iraq now total 4,501. According to Iraq Body Count, there were 150 confirmed Iraqi civilian deaths this week.

So we are at war with or conducting raids into the territories of Afghanistan, Iraq, Pakistan, Iran, and now Syria.
We wont worry about the Philippines conflict, as nobody bothers with that one.

PS; Iran and Syria have a mutual defense pact btw.
And somebody in the US wants a new war erupting before nov 4th.
They could of just as easily been Blackwater Security. I don't see the Army being used for something like this; too much of a paper trail.
'Special Forces' could be either SF types or mercs hired to etc.
But somebody told whoever to go do whatever.
Was it for shock value or just blood lust and a chance to kill muslims !
Or a no witness left alive (to talk on TV) policy.
In their attempts to further destabilize the world for their own political gain they've sent troops into another hell hole. I thought the "surge" was working; and how many foreign troops were invading and overwheliming the war effort in Iraq anyway? The neocon cabal is locking whoever wins next month into a policy of more death and destruction!
1. It is because of November 4th as Ferrofluid mentioned eariler.
2. It could be the neocon's version of "burnt earth" policy to leave (mostly likely) Obama and the democrats with a big mess which will be difficult to clean, and they hopefully be later blamed for.

When McCain says we are winning in Iraq, I want to tell him:
When no more of our children have been killed in Iraq (we lost 9 this month so far) when we have left...then we have won. We win by leaving asshole.
So until then McCain STFU
