This Week: In Memoriam
By Nicole Belle Sunday Mar 08, 2009 5:30pm
This Week with George Stephanopoulos notes the passings of noted writer Horton Foote, editor James Bellows and "Winston Man"/anti-smoking crusader Alan Landers.
In addition, the Pentagon has released the names of four service members killed in Iraq and Afghanistan. The total number of allied service members killed in Iraq now totals 4,256, in Afghanistan, 1,096. During this week, Iraq Body Count lists 55 Iraqi civilians killed. Sadly, that number does not include the 28 Iraqis killed and 60 wounded by a suicide bomber this morning.

It's so sad that all those Iraqi's are dying for a phony Korean style puppet state in the Middle East. No empire lasts for long, thankfully the life of empires get shorter with each one that pops out of whatever hell creates them.
U.S. Troops blasted C&L Posters for the fourth straight week with excellent passing from their own end to control the puck in the neutral zone setting up numerous scoring chances with crisp movement in front of the net. U.S. Troops netminder Pfc. Joe Sandflea stonewalled the C&L poster giving up only one score to nail the lid on the coffin as assuredly as the Afghans will attempt same for him.
The Troops suffered four fatalities but, they did not die in vain, having once again trashed the C&L Posters who just don't seem to care or may be embarrassed as the deaths are on Coach Obama's watch.
Next week in Men's basketball the U.S. Troop Globetrotters will go for five wins, in as many weeks, against Team C&L.
Paul Harvey not to be mentioned. Not that I care, just saying.... he was noteworthy and received no mention.
