it was a great year for for being the dupes and the dopes !heres to the comeing dissapointments that are yet to come!
But it would brighten my millenium if instead of the ball on New Year's Eve falling to earth like the deflated hopes and even more deflated wallets of millions, we could watch 2009 come in with Dick Cheney's balls tied to a fishing line slowly sinking into the rabid crowd at Times Square.

The fact is that this is and has been the absurd construct of the Republican Party (Joe Lieberman not withstanding). They don't have to be wrong to be ignored. They don't have to be wrong to be voted out of office. They don't have to be wrong to be removed from power. They are not ignored. They are still in office and they are still in control of way too much. Obama has been elected, but these atrocious people still are the guiding Judas Goats of a vastly misinformed America. An America misinformed intentionally or otherwise is more dangerous than a thousand terrorist sleeper cells. If these people were honest in their mistakes (and i am positive they are not in the least) it would still be a case of the Misinformed leading the Misinformed into the darkness of ignorance.
