Oh my!!
Paul Lynde was a vehement anti-Semite. He hated the Jews.
People said he would come back to the set of Hollywood Squares after lunch totally drunk and start screaming about the Jews and how they were to blame for his career troubles.
This saddens me. I always liked him so. He was my mom's favorite comedian (Don Rickles was my dad's fav).
And he was very gay.
But he was funny, especially when you're a kid.
Isn't that how Brian Jones died?
Who'd have thought that George Tenet was so Rock 'n' Roll?
George is another good christian being baptized by dunkin'
So is this what you do before you get the medal of honor or whatever the hell it was? Or perhaps you wait until after you receive it to go bat shit crazy.
...is what you get for blowing the president, and Tenet's was well deserved. Almost as well deserved as Tommy "Turbo-Tongue" Franks's medal. I seriously don't understand why Monica Lawinsky never got one. I'm sure Clinton would have gone nuts, and bombed/invaded more countries if Monica hadn't been there to relieve his stress. That's basically Bush's problem. White knuckle dry-drunk, with a wife who's full of more mood-altering pills that Rush Limbaugh's sock drawer. What else is there for a guy to DO but go around stirring up shit all over the world?
I don't believe for one second that George Tenet was babbling in Bandar's pool. Bandar's house in Colorado, however, sounds much like Micahel Dell's house in Austin, Texas. Apparently Mr. Dell lost a private servant or two around the same time George Tenet was fired.
and I think the "jews" he was referring to were Kristol, Wolfowitz, Perle, etc (not jews in general)- the neo-con warmongers who worked very hard to pin the "faulty intelligence" on George after it turned out there were no WMD. He was definitely the Bush admin scapegoat - medal or no.
But, if you'd read the PNAC docs - authored by this same bunch + Cheney, J. Bush, D. Feith, etc. , you'd know Tenet was speaking the truth. He was just too dumb to figure it out beforehand.
Where's the thread about Mukasey recusing himself in the Madoff case?
I totally agree with this. These are the same people aligning themselves with the far right (read: that nutcase, Netanyahoo) of Israel's political scene. Of course, this is one of the big reasons America went into Iraq, but this reason doesn't dare rear its ugly head in the MSM lest someone be labelled an "anti-semite".
Since it's posted on the Internets, it must be true !
I just picked up Patrick Tyler's forthcoming book, A World of Trouble, about America's tortured relations with the Middle East, and the prologue contains this whopper of a scene, one that is quite devastating, if true:
[emphasis added]
Blame the medium....
Isn't alcohol illegal in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia?
Gee, who could possibly imagine that drinking excessively, on top of sleeping pills, would loosen those lips.
Whoopsy.
...as with any hypocritical regime, they are willing to accommodate their powerful and wealthy business partners. They are also supplied with anything that is immoral or outlawed by the very fundamentalist and despotic rulers. Look at the moralists in the US ( Foley, Craig, Spitzer, Vitter) When they get caught (literally sometimes) with their pants down, it is usually something they are crusading against.
bandar used to own property in aspen:
http://www.rockymountainnews.com/drmn/real_es...
ASPEN - Prince Bandar bin Sultan, the former Saudi Arabian ambassador to the United States, is selling his palatial home in Starwood Ranch for $135 million in what is likely the most expensive single-family residence listed in the nation.
The 56,000-square-foot palace is bigger than the White House and includes 15 bedrooms, 16 to 26 bathrooms - reports vary - an indoor swimming pool, an elevator and dumbwaiters on a 95-acre estate with horse stables, a tennis court, trails, ponds and other water features all overlooking Aspen.
Yes, but you can buy your way to redemption by funding a few hate-mongering madrassas in Pakistan. It's amazing what an endless supply of money can do for the soul.
your enablers get kicked in the gonads by those in your own country who call you on your hypcrisy- and the enablers don't understand why the fuck it happened.
Being one of "the Jews", people who run the gamut from dislike to distaste to murderous intentions have always used "the Jews" for their problems. We are the only religious minority it's still cool to pin blame on for everyone's ills. Hey, it's simpler than manning up and accepting responsibility.
As said above, he meant Wolfowitz, Perle, E. Cohen, Friedberg, Abrams, Rosen, Kristol (I think), and the like. And in sentiment, I can agree that each of these PNACers are worthless pieces of chickenhawk shit.
to one of his ilk, a Jew is a Jew. The "Court Jew" was always the most visible Jew to hate/mistrust/dislike. All those named above were/are Court Jews. Their misdeeds get placed on all American Jews.
Having said that, it is hard to ignore how rightwing and hawkish politics in Israel are as well.
That's SORT OF true. The Overton Window is shoved even farther to the right in Israel than it is in the U.S. But some of the most vocal opponents of Israeli foreign policy also come from WITHIN Israel. The only reason we don't hear much from that group is because, there as here, the right wing zionists are much more vocal, better organized, and have more powerful lobby groups, both in Israel and in Washington.
Yet another recipient of a Bush Medal of Freedom.
Seems like everyone he ever awarded it to was like the Ancient Mariner with the dead albatross.
All the spin lately speaks loudly to their guilt, Bush and the neocons.
Tenet is a worm. The lowest of species. Bottom feeder. Not good for this country.
I think you're a worm.
