Missing from the fabulous game Whack-A-Wingnut: a chance to whack John Gibson with a War-On-Christmas Tree. I'd also like to whack the lot of them with the Fairness Doctrine. Otherwise, perfect.

Have you had enough of this garbage yet?. While discussing the monkey that escaped from the zoo in Seattle, the Fox News model uses the words "bright blue scrotum" over and over to describe how the monkey that escaped from the zoo looks when it's angry. She then tosses it to Gibson who manages to get this zinger in there at the end of the clip.

We were talking about Eric Holder today on the radio, and his bright blue scrotum.

Not that I think it will do an ounce of good since Fox obviously does not care how openly racist they are, but if you want to let them know you don't approve of this behavior here's their contact page.

Fox News Contact Us

UPDATE: It appears that the video was doctored and Gibson never compared Eric Holder to a monkey. We do not know the origin of the doctored video. We regret the error.

Above audio clip and more from Media Matters:

While discussing the controversy surrounding Rev. Jeremiah Wright, Sen. Barack Obama's former pastor, on the April 30 edition of his nationally syndicated Fox News radio show, host John Gibson aired an audio clip of MSNBC commentator Rachel Maddow in which she asked, "What else has to happen in the news to push Jeremiah Wright out of the headlines?" Following her comments, Gibson aired an unidentified audio clip of a man saying, " Ooh, lesbians. Yummy." Later in the segment, Gibson's producer, known on-air as "Angry Rich" said, "That Maddow's become bathtub boy's pit bull, hasn't she?" -- an apparent reference to MSNBC's Countdown host, Keith Olbermann. Gibson replied, "Ooohhh. ... Well, I don't know, you know? She may have one of those -- I shouldn't say anything more, should I?" "Angry Rich" said, "No," and Gibson said, apparently referring to his associate producer, "Christine's shaking her head back and forth," and went on to air an audio clip in which an unidentified woman said, "I would like to thank my wife." Gibson later said, "Did I tell you about the people ... on the island of Lesbos?" Read on...

Poor Gibby. His tee vee show got yanked from the polluted FOXNews network and is stuck in the vast wasteland of right wing talk radio. Poor bigot.

Big Story: John Gibson's Show Yanked At FOXNews

The New York Times:

Fox News Channel, tinkering for the first time in eight years with its popular early evening lineup, is replacing its 5 p.m. news broadcast, “The Big Story,” with an election-theme program for the foreseeable future. The network confirmed this week that “America’s Election HQ,” a program that displaced “The Big Story” temporarily last month, would continue indefinitely. The program’s hosts, Bill Hemmer and Megyn Kelly, also anchor the network’s mid-morning newscast and are seen as rising stars on the channel. The change was first reported by the blog TVNewser.com. John Gibson, the longtime host of “The Big Story,” will continue to have a role on television, the network said, although it appears that his future for now lies mostly on radio. For two years Mr. Gibson, a conservative commentator, has been the host of a three-hour program for Fox News Radio immediately following his television show. Fox News Channel, the top-rated cable news network, has benefited in recent years from a stable programming schedule, while CNN and MSNBC have made multiple on-camera changes. The programming shift underscores the emphasis placed on election-year programming by the cable news networks.

Let's walk down the memory lane of shame, shall we? Gibby insulted actor Heath Ledger shortly after his death, accused outed CIA operative, Valerie Plame of being part of an anti-Bush cabal within the CIA, introduced the world to the dreaded Oogah Boogah Fever, and finally, who could forget the xenophobic "make more white babies" rant. Perhaps he and Tucker could hook up for a new show together? Farewell, Johnny....we barely watched ye.

Wednesday’s 'Worst Person In The World' begins with a Bronze to Kellyanne Conway for her overactive racism imagination, then a Silver to FOXNews host co-host John Gibson for leading his guest with "The Democrats have vowed more failure" and the question "Is 'stop the war' a winner?" complete with graphics to match, and the Gold went to T. Boone Pickens for trying to weasel out of his one million dollar bet if anyone can prove 'just one thing' false in the Swift Boat Liars Veterans for Truth ads he helped finance.

So STFU you stupid libs, and get to reporting the GOOD news about George W. Bush. If it weren't for you dirty f*cking hippies reporting the truth, President Bush's approval ratings would be skyrocketing by now -- at least that's what FOXNews' John Gibson wants his fringe fans to believe. Note the source-free "published report" on homelessness and the "be good little Germans" tone to his writing.

So are doubts about all this good news the reason that Bush's disapproval numbers are so high? I don't think so. I think it is instead the tide of bad news turning to better or — dare I say it — good news isn't discussed in the media. Instead it's a constant drumbeat of things are bad, we're losing the war, you're going to lose your job and your house.

On yet another front, a published report today said that homelessness is virtually over. People may have crushing mortgages, but they have homes.

So all in all, the war is going in our favor. Proof of that is that Democrats have shut up about it. Bush has made sure you have a job, and this economy has insured you have a home.

I don't normally link to FOXNews' website, but this article is so absurd, and I did come down on Gibby for his lack of sources so I figured I would go ahead and link it just to be on the safe side. I would hate for anyone to think I could ever make up garbage like this. You can read the rest of the article and fact check said garbage................ here.

World's Worst: Keith Destroys FOX's John Gibson

countdown-ww-gibson911.jpg FOX Opinion Channel's Resident Hack, John Gibson, gets Tuesday's top honor for hosting right-wing nutjob columnist Stu Bykofsky -- who called for another 9/11 to "unite" the county -- and mocking Jon Stewart's heartfelt opening monologue after the 9/11 attacks.

These people really do have no shame.

Update: John Amato: "I'm sure he'll call his pal Stu---maybe invite him over for a few drinks while they play "pick the American city" they hope will be attacked by terrorists. Now Gibson is crying with his producer named...get this..."Angry Rich"...because MM called them out on it. Count me in Gibby. Making fun of the horror Stewart felt was childish and mean."

Hoping for Horror...Stu Bykofsky

It looks like Stu's column has gotten the reaction that I thought it would on FOX. Instead of denouncing a piece that wishes for the blood of Americans to spill so that we can get back to the good old times of being united immediately post 9/11 and wake people up to the threat they never want us to forget. John Gibson foolishly says that "I think it's going to take a lot of dead people to wake America up." I'm sorry, I think everybody did wake up on 9/11. But when we go after a country that wasn't the threat, it's hard to take the fear-mongering seriously. The problem is that Stu tries to distance himself from the headline of his article and says that the text of it never says the word "need" in it. What's the difference, Bykofsky? It's the screaming headline of your article! If you really cared about it, you would have threw a fit. I had to laugh because he says the initial reaction to his piece was pretty mild in Philadelphia, but

Stu: ....then it got posted somewhere outside of Philadelphia and this morning when I came in there were well over a 1000 emails and more kept coming in during the day.

Gibson: A bunch of those emails want you fired, right?

Good job C&Lers. I knew you would be thoughtful and succinct when you contacted him. Why doesn't John Gibson call him a nutjob, whacko, looney American traitor for wanting us to be attacked to prove some point? Instead, Gibson drools all over him and forms a unique bond with Stu. Would he be as accepting if a liberal had said something like that? It would be replayed on FOX over and over again and that person would be vilified by every conservative host and pundit across the country.

I will ask Stu to be the first one to give up his life for the dream he holds dear. I'm telling you that the extreme right wingers in this country hope for an attack on US soil. That is really sad, but they get away with it because they will always have a job at FOX.

mw.jpg Via Media Matters:

On the August 3 edition of Fox News host John Gibson's nationally syndicated radio program, the show's executive producer, who goes by the name "Angry Rich" on the program, claimed Democratic presidential candidate former Sen. John Edwards (NC) "whored his wife's cancer as a fundraising gimmick." He also went on to call him "a fraud" and "a pansy." Gibson referred to Edwards as "the Breck Girl," "Silky," and "the biggest fraud running for president." Gibson and "Angry Rich" were attacking Edwards for saying that Democratic candidates should give back campaign contributions from News Corp., the parent company of Fox News Channel, while accepting advance and expense money from HarperCollins, another News Corp. division that had published a book written by Edwards; Gibson played an audio clip of Edwards stating that money was donated to charity. They also attacked Edwards for his refusal earlier this year to participate in a debate co-sponsored by Fox News. Read more...

Do you think FOXNews sponsors want to be associated with this kind of hateful rhetoric? Maybe we should ask them...

John Gibson Diagnosing By Video: "Ooga Booga Fever"

Gibson-Ooga-Booga Story and video at Media Matters For America:

On the May 31 edition of Fox News' The Big Story, host John Gibson said he was "mesmerized" by what he called "[t]he TB Man story" -- the recent news that American attorney Andrew Speaker traveled by airline while infected with antibiotic-resistant tuberculosis. Gibson stated: "It seems every time a story pops up about somebody who has suddenly contracted some strange or incurable disease, it's somebody who is either from the third world, or was traveling through some godforsaken hellhole, and somehow managed to contract ooga booga fever." John Gibson Rewrites History in 3 Minutes

gibson-plame.jpg In a cringe-inducing Orwellian moment, John Gibson conveniently rewrote history last night in a mere 180 seconds. According to Gibson's narrative, the motive behind the Plame outing was simple: Cheney and Libby were benignly trying to defend themselves against the factually inaccurate charge that they had initiated the CIA inquiry into Niger. In "fact," it was the all-powerful Valerie Plame who overrode senior CIA officials and demanded her husband be sent. Furthermore, it was all a carefully crafted conspiracy by the "anti-war activist" Wilsons and CIA "cabal" that was hellbent on "sabotaging" President Bush's carefully treaded march to war.

icon Download | play   icon Download | play

"So why would Cheney send an anti-war activist to investigate a key fact in the decision to go to war? Answer: He wouldn't. And the person who did was trying to sabotage the president.

"That is the real story behind this entire saga."

Got that? Cheney & Libby = Exonerated. CIA & The Wilsons = Guilty. Case closed. Note the hilarious on-screen graphics as the fairytale goes along. As a smart man once said: Everyone is entitled to their own opinion. They are not, however, entitled to their own facts.

FOXNews.com has the historically updated transcript in case you can't bear to watch John Gibson propagandize.

Gibson is just plain "FOX stupid" on Obama and smoking

obama-cigs.jpg  "FOX stupid" is a new label I have for this trash. Can't they just attack his name? John Gibson, a resident Bush Cultist, has a segment devoted to Obama smoking ciggies. Yes, enquiring minds want to know why "nobody sees him smoking." Thanks Roger Ailes.

Gibson: You never see a pack of cigarettes in his pocket. A question is----would you vote for a smoker as President?

later...

John McWhorter,  from the Manhattan Institute gives us this crack analysis: "...and again the only reason it looks plausible is because we see something about his being brown that creates that. It's almost like he's Mammy."

I guess that refers to Al Jolson. Is this the new comedy show for the FNS by 24's Joel Surnow? (h/t Scarce for the vid)

gibson-kingston.jpg Rep. Kingston goes on FOX and tries to defend his idiotic statements about Hoyer's call for a 5 day work week and actually admits the Republicans were slackers. It's really bad for the GOP when John Gibson starts giving them a hard time.

Video-WMP Video-QT

Gibson: Don't you think that maybe part of the reason the Republicans were fired is the public heard about this?

Kingston: I think its because we didn't perform. When we were up here we were naming bridges and post offices. We were not having quality time again...---We drifted, we got off our agenda. We came up here and some weeks we just twiddled our thumbs and that's what killed us...

Scarborough on Mel Gibson and Laura Ingraham

sc_mel-gibson.jpg Tim sent in this video. The conservatives that supported Mel as their hero after his very controversial "The Passion of the Christ" movie are really falling apart trying to defend him while making believe they aren't. The apologists usually move past his anti-Semitic remarks and accept his apology at face value.  Then they quickly change the subject to why no one is talking about anti-Christian sentiments. A typical smoke screen that they are so very good at, but hey--he did apologize--right? Or was it his PR staff? Meanwhile, Joe has a problem with a few other pundits in this clip.

transcript:

SCARBOROUGH:  As they say in tennis: Game, set, match.  Our experiment proved Mel Gibson‘s alibi was a load of trash, but judging from the howling from conservative circles who still support Mr. Gibson, apparently our experiment was too effective.

This clip was taken from a transcript of FOX News Channel‘s John Gibson‘s radio show.

John Gibson: Iran Attacking Israel Is Really Attacking the U.S.

John-Gibson-Iran.jpg

First I thought Matt figured out Gibson's logic. Then I thought Duncan had it figured out. They are both right and wrong.

Video-WMP Video -QT later

The simple answer? These people are nuts.

Gibson: If you ever wondered whether it was worth all the trouble to keep Iran from getting a nuke, look at the news today.  When Hezbollah attacks Israel — or attacks anybody — it is Iran that is really doing the attacking.

Iran can get the world to the brink of a war with just a few conventional explosives, a militia of irregulars and some suicide bombers, think what they could do with a real nuke.Iran is attacking Israel, but it is really attacking us. That's because it knows that the U.S. will come to Israel's aid if things get really rough and eventually any Iran-Israel clash will get very rough...read on
