Fox News has hired Zell on as a contributor . This only supports FOX's, fair to the right and unbalanced to the left approach to news. Right wingers would have you believe that democrats are angry because he is an independant thinker. Is he independent or dishonest? On March 1, 2001 Zell introduced John Kerry at the Democratic Party of Georgia's Jefferson-Jackson Dinner:

"My job tonight is an easy one: to present to you one of this nation's authentic heroes, one of this party's best-known and greatest leaders – and a good friend."

Then he said this: "John has worked to strengthen our military, reform public education, boost the economy and protect the environment. Business Week magazine named him one of the top pro-technology legislators and made him a member of its "Digital Dozen."

This is a stark contrast to his keynote speech where he said Kerry would arm the soldiers with "spitballs." He is a perfect fit for Fox News because they gain another man with an attack dog approach, and a hero among the conservative movement. In his interlude with Matthews, Zell is giving us a preview of what will come when he is a guest with Sean Hannity.
