CNN's Statement

“Tonight, some viewers may have noticed a stop-start at the beginning of President Bush’s address on immigration. The pool network mistakenly cued the President early. As the President began his remarks, CNN began carrying them. When the President was alerted to the miscue, he stopped speaking and CNN returned briefly to the Situation Room."
