Sources told me a little while ago that Scalia has denied the Delay case. I was looking for some confirmation:
Supreme Court Justice Antonin Scalia, Monday, denied a request by Texas Republicans to block an appeals court ruling that says the name of indicted former House Majority Leader Tom DeLay must appear on the November ballot. Republicans had requested the stay earlier in the day in order to prepare their full appeal. Now lawyers for the Texas GOP will have to race to get their appeal to the Supreme Court.
