tds-iraq-bill.jpg As we noted yesterday, the Senate voted down the Cochran amendment 50-48 that would have removed the withdrawal timeline from the 2007 Iraq supplemental bill. On one hand, you have the President and Republicans insisting that this bill is riddled with pork and "denies funds" for the troops. On the other, you have the Democrats saying that it does indeed fund the troops while at the same time ensuring that our mission is defined and feasible. Jon cuts through the spin and gets to the truth.
