I completely love Helen Thomas. I want to be that sharp, that funny and fiesty and still so on top of my game when I'm her age. It's no wonder that Bush is afraid to ask for her questions at press conferences. You know you're not going to get the same milquetoasty stenography that comes from so many media outlet when Helen Thomas is on the story.
Sometimes it's hard not to quail before your betters, and I just had that experience, in the best of ways. Helen Thomas agreed to speak with me about the war, the Bush administration, and life in the Beltway, and I am honored and flattered as a Little Blogger to have had this opportunity.
