Stephen Colbert has a solution to help wingnut Rep. Steve King "independently verify" all of those LGBT people exist that he doesn't think should be protected from hate crimes.
March 4, 2014

After wingnut homophobe Rep. Steve King told a local television network that "LGBT people didn't deserve equal protection because their sexual orientation could not be independently verified," Stephen Colbert urged his audience to help Congressman King do just that.

COLBERT: Yes, the only way for gays to be protected is have their gayness independently verified. I think what Steve King is saying, gays, is he wants you to send photos and/or videos proving to Steve King that you are gay.

Again, that's Steve King, 2210 Rayburn Office Building, Washington, DC 20515. Be sure... be sure to label your envelope "campaign contributions" so you know that he'll read it.
