ISIS Beheads Missing American Journalist On Camera, Threatens Another

James Foley has been missing since November 2012.

No, we're not going to post the pictures. You know how to find that kind of thing if you're interested. Via Mediate:

According to multiple reports, ISIS claims to have executed American freelance journalist James Foley. Politico’s Blake Hounshell was one the first to report the news on Twitter, saying the militant Islamic group is threatening to kill another reporter in retaliation for U.S. strikes on their forces in Iraq.

The family has been pleading for his release:

Journalist James Foley disappeared in northwest Syria on Thanksgiving Day, November 22 2012.

Jim is the oldest of five children. He has reported independently and objectively from the Middle East for the past five years. Prior to his work as a journalist, Jim helped empower disadvantaged individuals as a teacher and mentor assisting them in improving their lives.

The family appeals for the release of Jim unharmed.
