It finally hit Republicans that ripping women's bodily autonomy away from them isn't wildly popular. Imagine that. After electoral losses, they even tried to come up with a word or phrase to use to substitute for pro-life.

And today is voting day in Virginia after Gov. Glenn Youngkin and his political team devoted significant resources to gaining Republican control of the General Assembly. Youngkin is hoping to enact a conservative agenda that would include passing new abortion legislation, according to a report from earlier this year.

Youngkin isn't an honest person. He tries to act as if he wouldn't want a full-out ban on abortion when we know better -- and this shouldn't even be up for debate.

"As we entered this cycle, I had pulled together leadership and said, I think we should progress a bill that protects life," he told reporters. "And so we've done exactly that."

"And I just wanted to make sure people understand what we would deliver," he continued. "And the candidates that are all running have all agreed this is the bill that they would progress."

"And so I just think it's really important that Virginians have a clear choice," he added. "And I'm a man of my word, and this is what I told people we would do."

As a woman, when a man can't stop talking about what my body should be able to do and what it shouldn't, I just want him to shut the fuck up. Either that, or we need a board filled with only women to decide what Youngkin can do with his little dick and what he can't.

Creepy motherfucker.
