MS NOW's Jen Psaki told us that the Republicans have chosen to go with the theme of "conservative common sense vs the crazy" of the Democrats. She backed this up with a short montage of some highly crazy Republicans repeating the tagline, including Speaker Jebus Johnson, Rep Kat Cammack, J Divan Vance, and my personal favorite, Scott Walker, pretending they have an ounce of common sense.
Psaki then drives the absurdity of it home by talking about how MAGA Mike had to go down to Texas to help do some fundraising for the lunatic Brandon Herrera, who goes by the online name of AK Guy. Psaki said, " And it's hard to pinpoint just exactly what the worst thing about this guy is. Maybe it's him goose-stepping to a Nazi marching anthem while carrying a German rifle. A real video there. Or his decision to recreate the assassination of Martin Luther King Jr. in one of his many videos promoting gun rights." She also went on to talk about how Herrera mocked service members who committed suicide and joked with some buddies about abolishing Social Security and killing senior citizens. Psaki alluded to, but did not go as far as to openly discuss, Herrera's most disgusting comments about mothers who have political opinions.
Yet, MAGA Mike thinks that Herrera is a common-sense kind of guy.
Psaki also talked about all the problems that Mike Collins is having in Georgia, having an unusually large number of white supremacists in his inner circle as well as holding some questionable viewpoints himself.
I would add that Tom Tiffany, who is running for governor of Wisconsin, was using that tagline himself when he thought he would be running against DSA member Francesca Hong. That is a pretty bold self-assessment for someone who voted to overturn the 2020 election, supported the insurrectionists, is a member of the Free Dumb Caucus, and is a proud member of Trump's Little Bitches Club.
