This Week with Christiane Amanpour marks the passings of ABC television news producers Clem Lane and Jeff Gralnick. In addition, the Pentagon released the names of two soldiers killed in Afghanistan:

US Army SGT Ken K Hermogino, 30, Edwards Air Force Base, CA
US Army 1LT Demetrius M Frison, 26, Lancaster, PA

According to iCasualties, the total number of allied servicemembers killed in Iraq is 4,770; in Afghanistan, 2,453, of whom, 155 are Canadian. During this same period, Iraq Body Count lists 59 Iraqi civilian deaths. And dozens of civilians have been killed in various battles through out the Middle East
