Mike's Blog Round Up
Empire Burlesque: Hype v. Hyderabad.
At MaxSpeak, Max Sawicky’s proposal for an “intelligent immigration policy.” At No Comment, a less intelligent but more modest proposal from Glenn Beck: convert Mexicans into cheap alternative fuel.
All Spin Zone: The Fairness Doctrine is still dead.
Lukery Land: A short course in scandal management, from Bandar Bush to Sibel Edmonds.
Pandagon: Most white people would charge a cool million to give up TV forever – but they’d be willing to switch races for ten grand or less. (Has Clarence Thomas switched already?)

Has Clarence Thomas switched already? = Racist comment.
By the way, how many Supreme Court justices are Roman Catholic? Is the pope running the third branch of government?

after little thought, this doesn't surprise me because i live in a country where people will wait overnight in line to purchase a new electronic good or see a new movie.
Prioritize much?
i guess i should have added the context that that the overnight camping for the electronics takes place at a time when we occupy two war zones, gas prices are higher than ever, and consumer debt is higher than it's ever been in history.
Again Prioritize Much?

Agreed. As a white man, I'm insulted.
Iraq. It's Why We Spew
Since Dartmouth, the conservative fray has been quite remunerative for Dinesh D'Souza. Six years ago, he and his wife bought their home in Fairbanks Ranch. The nearly 8000-square-foot house has six bedrooms, seven and a half baths, and a four-car garage, where they keep their maroon 1992 Jaguar XJS. A circular drive fronts the French country stone house. The cathedral-like front room, with its full-length mirrors and tapestries, has an 18th-century French decor of (veneered) golden maple burl furniture. The slick floors echo like a museum as one walks through. In his office, there's wall-to-wall leopard-print carpet; floor-to-ceiling bookcases are stocked with titles in history, politics, and philosophy. The view out back features a bright blue pool and the arboretum-like landscape.
Some Great Ways to SPEAK OUT!

Never let it be said that this generation failed to do the very least it possibly could in defense of our nation...
Last Saturday I read a report in the Dallas Morning Nudes that the Supreme Court UPHELD a kid's t-shirt denouncing bush as a deserter who uses cocaine and alcohol.
So last week's decision wasn't as bad as we thought. However, it may even be more confusing, unless the moral to be gainsayed is that there has to be a clear cut message of a political nature, not just being a sphincter aperature.
gainsaid.

Companies in U.S. Increase Testing of Chinese Goods
By NELSON D. SCHWARTZ
Widening recalls have forced big American companies to focus on potential hazards that were overlooked in the past.

It's people!!! Mexinol is people!!!
The "Fairness doctrine" is a joke, a control on free speech. If you don't like conservative or liberal radio, turn it off!
If we had the Fairness Doctrine back in 1994, Ann Richards would've been reelected Head Goober of Texas, and we'd be talkin' about a President Gore or Kerry.
Sibel Edmonds holds the key to Democratic triumph, but I don't see anyone interested here.
Am I the only one who gets a headache trying to listen to leiberman talk re: Nat'l Commission on Energy and building power plants. Whether or not (like we don't know) these gigantic heavy industrial plants don't change the local weather.
I can't watch without getting a throbbing migrane!
Will someone please drag that guy away? Am I alone?
Ah, the fairness doctrine... Isn't that quaint, like the Geneva Conventions? ;-)
