What a beautifully simple world Bill O'Reilly lives in. Devoid of nuance, self-introspection, or intellectual honesty, he can happily just go and categorize everyone is such neat compartments: Here's the Bush-haters; there are America-haters, don't you think it ironic that in BilloWorld, everyone else is the hater?
Obviously, in BilloWorld, someone with the audacity to even have a program discussing if there are grounds to impeach President Bush has to be a hater. Bill Moyers did a thoughtful and well-reasoned program (which, if you haven't seen, what are you waiting for?) but obviously, it's outrageously biased (ahem...pot, meet kettle).
Moyers refused to appear on The Factor to answer for this lack of "balance" (smart man), so what's the Falafel Man to do? He asks his flunkie to approach Moyers while hailing a cab. That's "journalism," FOXstyle!

I can't say there's anything horribly wrong with that if you look at it from a very limited perspective. B.O. wanted to talk to somebody he thinks said something wrong, and that guy refused to talk to him on his show.
That said, given that all Moyers did to "offend" B.O. was make a well-considered program (that didn't directly affect B.O. in any way I'm aware of) and then decline to go on his show and get his mike cut while being berated, sending people out to catch him on the street is somewhere between juvenile and just pathetic.
At least it's just tabloid journalism. Not something utterly insane like, say, talking about pink-pistol-packin lesbian gangs.
It's like combining a 12 year old playground bully with the crazy drunk guy rambling in the bar and then giving him a television show.

If Bill Moyers claimed to be fair and balanced, then O'Reilly's hypocritical accusations would carry some sting.
And I disagree that putting liars on Moyer's show would help drive the point home. He does fine, simply by providing verifiable facts.

Look at O'Reilly's show. He constantly lies and invents stories. He twists the truth. He engages in hate speech and encourages violence against people he disagrees with.

Look what happened to Chris Dodd. Your idea of debating Orally in a neutral venue won't work. Paul Krugman (a recognized expert in economics) tried it and all he proved was the futility of debating a motormouth who doesn't know what he's talking about.
On the other hand, Al Franken took him on at a book fair (saw it on C-SPAN) and he did succeed in getting totally under Billo's skin, although I would hardly call what transpired a "debate". It was just a FUX-worthy shoutfest without Billo's precious dump button.

The only way we could "win" now would be either to forcibly separate the 3 factions (Kurd, Sunni, and Shia) into three countries and give them all equal oil rights, or establish another brutal dictatorship like was present under Saddam Hussein. The second option is not "winning", the first is probably impossible. But we can't win by doing the same thing that didn't work before only a little harder.

Listen up people, here is how you turn the tables on O’Reilly.
When Bill-O sics his goons on an unsuspecting target, what Bill-O is after is humiliating footage of his victim that he can then air on his right wing show.
Here is how you stop this while shoving it back into Bill-O’s face.
When Bill-O’s hack producer accosts you, you turn to the cameraman and smile while saying the following:
“Hi Bill! Have you sexually harassed any of your underlings against their will today”?
“Bill, can you tell us what shape the vibrator is that you use on yourself when you are making dirty phone calls”?
“And Bill, where do men put sexual vibrators anyway”?
“Google ‘SmokingGun Mackris’, read pages 16 and 17”.
Just keep repeating until O’Reilly’s goon has enough and leaves.
This way O’Reilly doesn’t get the humiliating footage he wants; his goon gets O’Reilly’s misdeeds thrown in his face; and O’Reilly’s head explodes when his goon comes back and he views the footage.
Billo going after most people is just sad and mildly irritating but sending a curly-permed intern to harrass him on the street is more than pathetic. Moyers is a god of journalism, and a deeply thoughtful and compassionate man. He knows exactly what O'Reilly does (and it ain't journalism folks) so he wisely declines to let his henchman (hench-boy) even get the angry reaction he was trying to provoke. Maybe he could have just said two words repeatedly, Andrea and Mackris. Then Billo wouldn't be able to air any of it. Of course, Moyers is way too classy to take it into the cheap personal realm.
Funny that O'Reilly would still be using those street fighting tactics even after Mike Stark's (uncool) taste-of-own-medicine stunt at his own home.

Good for Bill Moyers. By giving O'Riley the finger to go on his and Rupert Murdock's massive night mare of a net work, he is sending the right message to American people to turn these freaks out at every turn.

The ironic thing is, if you'd watched the show, Moyers himself asks all the skeptical questions that someone disinclined toward impeachment would ask -- only more succinctly, and with a better vocabulary and understanding of both civics and history than a lot of them could muster, I'll wager.

One of the two guests was Bruce Fein, who was the attorney for house repugs for clinton impeachment. He wrote the articles of impeachment.
Thats pretty balanced. Both were constitutional scholars, both did feel impeachment was necessary, so Moyers brought them on to tell their story.
The problem for orally, is he cant wrap his peabrain around the concept of
