Another great video from Robert Greenwald and Brave New Films showing how FOX Opinion has been drumming up the propaganda in support for a U.S. invasion of Iran.Robert Greenwald:
I remember very clearly the daily fearmongering led by FOX as they cheered for war with Iraq. The 24/7 images, sound effects, yelling and threatening were an ever-present drumbeat for war. We had to invade, and we had to invade now.. anyone who didn't see that was a traitor. They viciously attacked those of us who worked to get out the truth.
You'd think that with the complete failure in Iraq, those days would be behind us. Sadly, you'd be wrong.

This piece really tells the story of what a corrupt tool for propaganda Fox is. It also should tell people that our battle lines do not end with Bush and other Republicans. Christiane Amanpour’s comment succinctly describes the real threat:

The link you provided simply provides more evidence why those in the United States government should not be exempt from being tried in the International Criminal Court. 66 children, among others, died in that plane attack and not one person in the United States, to the best of my knowledge, has been ever been held accountable for the unnecessary deaths of those people that were shot down by the U.S. military.

I didn't pay too much attention in 1988. My mother said she watch a program on PBS but doesn't remember the name of the segment. She was hearing that the Arm force were profiling the soldier political background and assigning them to the front where they are most likely to be killed. I have not heard this for myself. I did notice that a black woman in the arm force was reported as a suicide, while some evidence are showing that it may have been murder, and sexually assaulted in the process.
I am curious if the death percentage of profiling have been tabulated. I just have a nagging feeling that since most of the poor have enlisted because of no jobs, that this would be the army way of eliminating the lessor halves of the economy. The Final solution for the year 2000. If anyone seen the program or article on the profiling of our American soldier into battle. I would like to read it and not shoot crap out of my ass, without verifying the story.

Take a look at this quote form CNN's Barbara Starr in the Situation Room August 24, 2007:
BARBARA STARR, CNN PENTAGON CORRESPONDENT (voice-over): The top U.S. commander for central Iraq detailed a growing Iranian campaign to smuggle in weapons, train fighters, and kill American troops.
It's worded to imply that Iranian Troops are killing American Troops. Of course that hasn't happened that we know of, but shaded and misleading statements like this can certainly lead the casual viewer to believe it had.
Barbara Starr doesn't filter anything that comes from the Pentagon. It just sorta goes in one ear and out her mouth. Other CNN reporters aren't any better.

The only real difference, is that Murdoch is the enemy foreign, and BushCo is the enemy domestic.
The Neocons and others who want to attack Iran are running out of time. George is only going to be in office another 16 months or so and they have no idea how susceptible the next President will be to their plans.
They're probably working on George's ego, telling him how history will honor him for making such a bold move. They're probably getting a bit desperate. They need a trigger mechanism, and all they have now is the arms sales that they can't really trace back to the Iranian government. Would the Iranian government really be so stupid as to put serial numbers on munitions they were shipping to Iraq?
Incidentally, now that it's apparent that the Iranian uranium enrichment program isn't going to produce a bomb anytime soon. the Neocons are claiming that the Iranians may obtain fissionable material from North Korea to produce a bomb. If they want us to believe that, then it's kinda shoots down their argument for bombing Iran's enrichment plants doesn't it?

I will tell you this much----when the US attacks Iran they are going to have one huge surprise shoved up its ass! Iran is not a fractured ineffective Iraq. Iran will put up a fight---a very nasty vicious fight---and I for one think Iran can seriously fuck up the US in a fight right now. No troops left, recruitment at an all-time low, dissent growing constantly....the US couldn't pick a worse time to start messing with another country. The only think that had saved the US from utter collapse economically has been the might of the US armed forced that loomed as a warning of the hissy fit Americans would throw if their standard of living was ever compromised (as well as their international standing). What is almost never mentioned is how Iran is likely to react after the attack. The people who are advocating attacks on Iran act as though that's the end of the story. Iran will react. They will retaliate. We may have a whole new war with a conventional front. The kind of war that our troops aren't trained to fight anymore.
When Iran was at war with Iraq they used human wave tactics very similar to the tactics the Chinese used in Korea. They were weren't afraid of taking losses. Any attack on Iran is likely to result in the loss of a lot of American lives. If we do go to war with Iran and win, then what? Do we try to occupy Iran? There hasn't been a lotta thinkin' goin' on here.

Here's what's completely off news coverage, civilians killed in Gaza, by the IDF. 2 girls were shot, by the IDF recently and not a peep form cnn. Lebanon's massive OIL slick on their cost, not a word, not an issue after Israel bombed an oil refinery in Lebanon. B Starr coverage of Ethiopia is just as appalling, when she hand picked by the pentagon to be the ONLY "reporter" in Ethiopia, covering the attack on Somalia, when there were reports from foreign sources saying american gunships were participating on attacks on Somalia, U.S. military is training , aiding the Ethiopian attACK on Somailia, a fact Starr completely sidestepped. Blantantly the U.S. media has ignored U.S. involvement in attacking somalia with Ethiopia and the "renditions" or kidnappings of people fleeing and crossing the border.
Abe Vries reported (foreigner,dutch) CNN used PSYOPS as interns from Ft. Benning , Georgia , not far from CNN HQ, a fact confirmed. CNN sends list of potential military "analyst" to the Pentagon to ask if they were good candidates for hire, to work at CNN.
MSNBC hires Lt. Rick Francona, military intelligence expert as "analyst" once AGAIN the UK'S Independent had a long article about Francona. Remember Saddam got a lot of military help form U.S. ,satellite photos, dual use helicopters, tons of Fertilizer form Dow, maybe Lt. Francona can explain some of that , if they exposed who he really is.
NBC can fire Donahue, and hire Dan Goure, who's he , a member of PNAC, easy google search found his name on their web site. Not to mention the other dozen or so of war profiteering retired Generals and colonels on the NBC and more elsewhere .
