So Ted Nugent roams a concert stage while toting automatic weapons, calls Barack Obama "a piece of -----" and says he told Obama to suck on one of his machine-guns. He also calls Hillary Clinton a "worthless bitch" and Dianne Feinstein a "worthless whore."
That Nugent, he's a man's man. He talks the talk and walks the walk, right?
Except when it was time to register for the draft during the Vietnam era. By his own admission, Nugent stopped all forms of personal hygiene for a month and showed up for his draft board physical in pants caked with his own urine and feces, winning a deferment. Creative!
Ah, but that was a long time ago. Nugent isn't just a washed-up rocker -- he's a right-wing madman who's not afraid to call out some of the leading Democrats in language so vile it makes the Dixie Chick Natalie Maines' comments about President Bush sound like a love poem.
There is no comparison between these two men. One cares about the people in his community, the other is a vile, foul-mouthed jerk. What a difference!
Alice Cooper also financially supported his dad's ministry to the Arizona Indians. This is of course for conversion, but also to increase their standard of living.

You have to admit, Bob Beckel left himself wide open to that attack. This argument should have never gotten further then "The Nudge is a Lunatic." He can spout all the garbage he wants. Crazy bums on the street corner do it all the time and who cares? They are jokes. They're crazy diatribes automatically discredit them. They are lovable baboons and people just smile, shake their heads and get on with life. Hannity Provoked the fight and got the fight he wanted. What I can't figure out is why people actually watch this crap? It's got the same amount of intelligence behind it that the Jerry Springer show has.
I'm surprised no one has said this yet (and if I missed it I apologize), but just two months ago, Nugent was on Hannity's program saying that his family was being targeted for assassination by a liberal blogger. The blogger was supposed to have said, "hey wrote, "I've got dibs on Rush as soon as it is legal and lawful to shoot him. Whoever wants Ted Nugent is welcome to him." Nugent said he and his family has their guard up after those remarks, Hannity termed it a threat, and both called it "hate speech". I have the video at the link below.

Over a lifetime of idiotic statements (and really, really bad lead guitar), Ted has done more to harm the choices of hunters, outdoor enthusiasts and personal protection promotion than any crazed gunman....
I have this theory that he has been taking pay-offs from Handgun Control INC. for years, just to BE the caricature of every gun-toting redneck that everybody fears. Smart move on their part. Worth every penny.
Except for the fact that neither Nugent nor Hannity has talent .....

Hi all,
I'm an archer and used to bowhunt. As a kid, I liked to watch hunting videos and rented a few produced and starred in by Nugent. These things really expose him for what he is. In them, although paying lip service to the majesty of the animals, he totally disrespects them. He shows back-and-forth, slow motion shots of the arrow entering the animal that, perhaps subconsciously on his part, mimics intercourse. He also takes shots on animals that are not ethical (meaning FAR beyond the maximum effective range of a bow). He also shoots a female boar with piglets saying that "that is a legal harvest". This act basically condemned the piglets to a slow death. He is a terminal adolescent and scary.
Onto the blonde republican on this clip. She misses the point when claiming freedom of speech protection for Nugent. No one is claiming he shouldn't be allowed to say this stuff. The questions are: 1) Are his statements reasonable and responsible? and 2) Given the finite amount of media, how much airtime should this guy get?.
