Troll! LOL

Seriously - on the Gibson comment, do these people really believe their own insane assertions or is it all an act? Coded messages to al Qaeda? Come on.

I'll be the biology troll.

Chameleons don't change color to blend into their surroundings. They're usually color-matched to their surroundings, but that's more a matter of selection than anything else. They DO change color to indicate emotional or fertility status, however. An angry chameleon will turn black, and an ovulating female will develop much more brilliant colors than usual.

Regarding talk of the next AG, this one is easy. Who is still associated with this White House and has known Bush the longest? AG is not a gift to the right like Roberts going to the Supreme Court. No, AG is about CYA for BushCo, about keeping investigations under control for BushCo, about waiting out the last year in a half for BushCo. See, it's all about BushCo. The next AG will be a crony. If he could i am sure he would make his Mom the next AG. Someone has to protect this little boy.

What a joke.

If Liebermann becomes Attorney General, Congressional committees won't have any trouble in their hearings of him not recalling, just staying awake during his answer.

Yay! I've finally had a reply deleted for being "off topic."

Okay. How about there might not be a next Attorney General? Has anybody here considered that option?

After all, you don't need a Justice Department when you have a military dictatorship.

General Douglas Lute is our generation's answer to Smedley Butler, though I doubt Lute will blow the whistle and upset the apple cart as did Butler.

KARL ROVE HAD HIS CAR VANDALIZED AT THE WHITEHOUSE

http://www.cnn.com/2007/POLITICS/08/29/rove.car.ap/index.html

CNN: White House pranksters punk Rove's car

WASHINGTON (AP) -- Karl Rove, your car is ready.

White House pranksters wrapped Rove's Jaguar in plastic wrap on the private driveway next to the West Wing.

Rove's car is easily recognizable because of its "I love Barack Obama" bumper sticker and the twin stuffed-animal eagles on the trunk. Oh, and there's a stuffed-animal elephant on the hood.

Rove, the top White House political strategist who recently announced his resignation, left his car on the driveway while visiting Texas and traveling with President Bush. He was due back in Washington Wednesday evening.

Yeah, I've asked that. What would compel Bush to appoint an AG? Is he better off without one?

LOL Rob, that story is great and the photo is better. Thanks for the link.

I just turned on c-span and there is a radio DJ doing his show with c-span filming. His name is Neal Boortz and he's unbelievable. He's talking about the dead beats in NOLA waiting around for the government to help them. He said they should get a plane ticket and go somewhere else. Why is it the right-wing radio guys are so damned mean? Is that how you make a name for yourself with the right, be heartless?

There are so many reasons I wouldn't want Joe Lieberman as AG, but hearing him speak and seeing his face are two of the main ones.

Do torture questions get torturous responses?

Straight Shooter's picture

On my morning hike, I had a horrifying thought that bush would proffer John Yoo as the next AG, whereupon I immediately threw up in my mouth a little.

Go ahead, let Lieberloser be the next AG. It's not as if anyone needs to be qualified for that position with bush still in the White House. The whole administration is a dismal joke.

Lieberman as AG would at least bounce him from government in a year and a half. The world would sleep easier.

Gibson may be the dumbest and least effective hack at Fox News, despite some very stiff competition.

And we can't have enough coverage on the torture issue or Katrina.
