Christian Right groups have vowed not to vote for candidates that will support these two immoral sins. In addition, these two sins are against the transgressor’s own body. Greed is a sin that affect the multitudes; yet it has not been brought into the national debate. ETGs intentionally avoid speaking about greed because it could possibly galvanize working class Americans against them.
The Bible mentions greed in the same sentence as it does homosexuality and immoral sex. Daily, we are inundated by the media that the Conservative Right considers gay rights and abortions as a litmus test used to determine their candidates. This selected use of scriptures serves the ETGs well. It is the elite of society that benefits most from this intentional omission of greed from the national debate.
We have all heard, “The love of money is the root of all evil”. So, why did ETGs omit greed? Greed! Greed is so devastating that in addition to the transgressor it can destroy a family, a corporation, a community, and a nation. No other sin is as devastating and if left unchecked, it could destroy the America we once knew.
The events of 9/11 were a terrorist attack against America’s greed. Other events caused by greed include—
a. Changing the focus of the War on Terrorism from Bin Laden to Saddam Hussein.
b. The War in Iraq and its escalating price tag.
c. Billions of dollars lost in oil revenue that was intended to fund the war.

To my Christian brothers, if you remember in the Book of Joshua, God had given his chosen people instruction to destroy Jericho.
