MSNBC calls Bernard Kerik a 9/11 Hero!

I guess he's a 9/11 hero because he got caught nailing Judith Regan in an apartment that was supposed to help tired 9/11 rescue workers.
After the cleanup had settled into a routine that fall, the executive said, Mr. Kerik, who was still police commissioner, asked to rent the two-bedroom apartment for his own use. During his use of the apartment, Mr. Kerik and Judith Regan engaged in an extramarital affair there, according to someone who spoke to Mr. Kerik about the relationship. Ms. Regan published his best-selling autobiography in 2001.
After taking the apartment, Mr. Kerik, who is married with two children and lived at the time in Riverdale, the Bronx, began to meet there with Ms. Regan, said the person who spoke to Mr. Kerik about the matter.
Let's not forget that "Jeanine Pirro asked Kerik to Tape Husband." And you wonder why I write about our liberal media so much. WTF is wrong with these people?

I don't know guys, my perception is that the word "hero" was supposed to be taken in an ironic light, like they should have put quotations around it, but didn't. Just a grammer mistake or something. That's just my view though.

It's not what did he do on 9/11 to become a "hero", I think the real question is who did he do.
If you really want to learn how slimy this guy is, read "Imperial Life in the Emerald City" by Rajiv Chandrasekaran. There is some pretty enlightening information about him and the time he spent in Iraq in the Green Zone (supposedly there to train the Iraqi police).
MSNBC's blurb should have read that their story-line of of a 9/11 "hero" had been called into question by a grand jury's indictment.

THIS is what the police commissioner did on 9-11. He shadowed Ghouliani everywhere,
standing creepily behind him. Many NYC Police superior officers run in the other direction when there is trouble. They fear that screwing up will hurt their chances at promotion.
The street cops are the real heros. Kerik should have been coordinating the police response, not tailing the mayor from one presser to another.
I am tired of this shit. The word HERO is being thrown around like an old jock strap. The real heroes are the ones that went down their each day to look for survivors and now have respiratory diseases. Done.
