have not seen any improvement in the MSM, in fact, it has gotten worse.

If you really are curious on what specifics Barack Obama has in mind for his administration, have you tried going to his website www.barackobama.com? He gets very specific about his plans for the future.
I think that instead of waiting for the mainstream media to spoon feed us the information that we seek on a candidate, maybe we should show a little bit of initiative and do some research on our own. The media really only cares about ratings, and reporting on Obama's plan to end corporate tax shelters obviously isn't gonna bring in viewers like a story on Hillary's fashion upgrades.
Also if you're wondering why Obama never addresses specific policy issues in his soaring speeches, can you really picture him firing up a crowd with a speech about expanding the earned income tax credit? It would really drag down his message on hope and unity.

If their sales show marked declines in areas where there was traditionally heavy ad saturation and correlating sales peaks, then they would make a move to jump out. Be careful what you wish for: with the media's emphasis on the platforms will come a greater emphasis on shouting opinions as to which platforms are better. So it would be a step in the right direction, but more needs to be done.

I think it makes Americans so damn angry that they don't push the candidates on the issues. I have yet to see one article, one interview nothing from Obama telling what he would do if he should become president. That doesn't say he wouldn't have good ideas, but what in the devil are they. He's not been asked why he said he would bomb Iran, although Edwards and Hillary have been panned over and over because they voted for that resolution.

The media treats Presidential election candidates like they are on American Idol. Frankly, I'm tired of it so I don't watch the mainstream media. I am not looking for a candidate that can entertain me. Nor do I care if he/she is great to have a beer with. I look at the candidate's positions on a issue and then I pick that position apart. If you really are curious on what specifics Barack Obama has in mind for his administration, have you tried going to his website www.barackobama.com? He gets very specific about his plans for the future.
I think that instead of waiting for the mainstream media to spoon feed us the information that we seek on a candidate, maybe we should show a little bit of initiative and do some research on our own. The media really only cares about ratings, and reporting on Obama's plan to end corporate tax shelters obviously isn't gonna bring in viewers like a story on Hillary's fashion upgrades.
Also if you're wondering why Obama never addresses specific policy issues in his soaring speeches, can you really picture him firing up a crowd with a speech about expanding the earned income tax credit? It would really drag down his message on hope and unity.

The only way to change the way media control pushes the agenda is to boycott the products that advertisers buy air time to promote. If their sales show marked declines in areas where there was traditionally heavy ad saturation and correlating sales peaks, then they would make a move to jump out. But until then, there is no incentive on behalf of either the media gurus or the ad execs.

Um, well.. Hate to say it, but that's a pretty worthless bit of polling that. (of course, since it's an online poll, that means it's actually meaningless to begin with..)
But that's a pretty dang argumentative and loaded poll question that. I mean, if you asked a non-loaded question (e.g. 'Are you satisfied with the media's coverage of the primaries?') I don't think the result would be anything like that.
That said, in my opinion there's two kinds of people: Those highly critical of the media, and those who should be. Unfortunately, the former group is smaller than this poll would indicate.

Dennis Kucinich should forward with his platform as a genuine Democratic and run instead as an INDEPENDENT if corporate and media oppositions succeed in preventing him from getting the nomination by using their dirty tricks and fraudulent actions.

ANY true AMERICAN patriot working for these UN-PATRIOTIC Media Conglamorate should excercise a walk-out in PROTEST and to demonstrate that you will not be a part of an establishment that go against the principles of our DEMOCRACY.
If every AMERICAN demonstrate unity and defend by participating in a WALK-OUT.........NBC will cease it's OPERATION. For ...without the AMERICAN workers... there will be NO .....NBC.................
Take a look at the WRITERS GUILD..........look what the POWER of UNITY can do......It sends a message.......without them....entertainment industry...is NOTHING.

WE are the EMPLOYER AND THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS of our OWN government. AND our PUBLIC servants are betraying our TRUST and not exercising their DUTY to hold those accountable for the VIOLATIONS OF PUBLIC INTEREST.
FCC are a public entity that should take it responsibility when MEDIA and Corporation defy our principles of DEMOCRATIC processes.........instead they and our government are catering to them and giving them a free pass to manipulate public opinions for their own corporate INTEREST....deciding who should and should not be included in a Presidential debate. Denying us that moral obligation to present the candidates and allow the public to decide for themselves WHO should be their next PRESIDENT and allowing them the common means to deliver their message........instead denying them that opportunity because it does not meet their standards (criteria)...which means MONEY is totally UN-AMERICAN and UN-PATRIOTIC.
IT is a blatant act of EXCULSIVE versus inclusivity that AMERICA is accustom to. IT is discriminatory act without CALLING it for what it really is "Discrimination". Shame on YOU...SHAME on what you are doing to our DEMOCRACY. Shame on what you are doing to our NATION and our Genuinely GOOD PEOPLE for the hell of MONEY.

Be careful what you wish for: with the media's emphasis on the platforms will come a greater emphasis on shouting opinions as to which platforms are better. So it would be a step in the right direction, but more needs to be done.
