All right. Here's a sad prediction. It comes mostly from what I'm sure is temporary pessimism, but I'll toss it out there anyway.
The media will continue to ignore Edwards and Kucinich. Kucinich will continue to be banned from all the debates. Eventually, Edwards will either be banned outrightly or de jure by having the moderator pay less and less attention to him.
The mudslinging and fighting going on between the media's anointed two will escalate. And to the extent that it doesn't, the media will hype it anyway, making it seem as though both Clinton and Obama have lost their tempers and their minds.
Meanwhile, Gone InSane will win the Republican Primary. Their convention will not be brokered by the time it finally rolls around. And since the Republicans are in the White House, the Republican Convention will be the later of the two parties'.
Whichever Democrat wins the nomination, Clinton or Obama, will have been sullied by the other and by the media. InSane, however, will have been resurrected in the press as that Straight-Talking Maverick.
The media will then do everything possible to highlight how their slurs and Swift Boating, whatever form it takes, of the Democratic nominee came not from them or the Republicans, but from the Democrats themselves. (Namely from the loser of the two.) They will also highlight how InSane overcame the odds to reappear as the sane, straight-talker.
The election will then be very, very tight, and it will go right down to the wire, with the Republicans having a real, fighting chance. A chance they do not have at the moment.
So there's my prediction. My wish, of course, is to be proven completely and altogether wrong.

As for 24...I stopped watchin that show years ago...the first season was spellbinding....but then I started to notice that Jack Bauer glamorized all the bad things our govt is doing...extraordinary renditions, torture, agents acting above the law, with impunity. I haven't watched it since a few episodes into the second season, so it may not still be like that.
And I loved Chloe when she was on Mr. Show!

Hold fast people. Tranquilizers are available in the lobby. In times such as these pause to reflect that things could be worse than they are. Yes we are seeing naked a part of Rush's anatomy naked that we would rather not have seen. It could have been a 180 degrees worse.
