Waterboarding leads Lieberman to lose his mind
Occasionally, we’ll hear that Joe Lieberman is generally in line with Democrats, but makes an exception on the war in Iraq and a neocon worldview of foreign policy. When it comes to values and domestic policy, the argument usually goes, Lieberman is generally reliable.
Let’s just erase that thought from our minds now, shall we?
Connecticut Sen. Joe Lieberman reluctantly acknowledged Thursday that he does not believe waterboarding is torture, but believes the interrogation technique should be available only under the most extreme circumstances.
Lieberman was one of 45 senators who voted Wednesday in opposition to a bill that would limit the CIA to the 19 interrogation techniques outlined in the Army field manual. That manual prohibits waterboarding, a method where detainees typically are strapped to a bench and have water poured into their mouth and nose making them feel as if they will drown.
“We are at war,” Lieberman said. “I know enough from public statements made by Osama bin Laden and others as well as classified information I see to know the terrorists are actively planning, plotting to attack us again. I want our government to be able to gather information again within both the law and Geneva Convention.”
All of this is spectacularly and breathtakingly wrong.

Why is it the weakest among us is always pro torture?
Time to strap his ass down I guess.
I suppose the implicit message is, "Trust me"?
Fat chance, turncoat.
Any form of interrogation which simulates or threatens death is, without question, torture. You may argue that torture should be allowed in certain circumstances (a position which I would disagree with but at least there's a rational argument to be made) but to claim that waterboarding is not torture is insane.
They lost the vote and McMaverick flipped flopped.
He needs to lose his chair on oversight for DHS because he has done nothing.
"We are at war"....
Dude, so is the rest of the world. Torture season is wide open.
Lieberman sucks, he is, and always was, nothing but a Republican plant inside the Democratic party to act as a useful foil.
That said, there are cretins like this from all walks of life and ethnic groups. Let's hope that the site monitor will keep this thread free from the predictable racist remarks, sometimes by well meaning idiots, but racist all the same. If you have to focus on Lieberman's ethnicity, not only are you obfuscating the real institutional motivations behind his behavior (and that of the corporate funded DLC at large), you're plain and simply a racist.
This is not a racist comment but Joe Lieberman as a Jew unequivocally supports the Israeli Agenda. Read Walt & Mearsheimer 'Israel Lobby' for more detail. Here's a primer.
http://www.lrb.co.uk/v28/n06/mear01_.html
Joe Lieberman will continue to support the US-Israeli occupation of Iraq and Palestine while pushing his Roosevelt grounded social agenda. Joe has never left the Democrat fold except on the war, FISA & Detention of Foreign Combatants and Bush's Middle East Fallacy.
Good to see Joe being his usual Judas Iscariot self. Hopefully the next majority leader will have enough balls and seats in the senate to kick his ass out of the democratic caucus for good.
within both the law and Geneva Convention.”
Waterboarding makes no sense then. The Geneva Conventions don't allow torture of prisoners, Senator.
Even Lieberman's logic is tortured.
“We are at war,” Lieberman said.
We have a terrorism problem, we are not at war!
That's a republican fabrication to try to turn this country into a fascist state.
It's been working for a while now but Barack Obama brings patriotic change in '09.
With who Joe? There is no war. It is an occupation. So is Afghanistan. The US is not in either country on invitation from it's citizens, so, ya, that's an invasion. The US did not leave after initial invasion, so, ya, that's an occupation. When the citizens of these countries are asked (and they have been), they all say GO HOME! There is no war, no more than you are a Dem.

Shame on U.S. @ 8:
It is a racist comment. I'm Jew, I support Israel but I don't support torture. Leave his religion out of it.
“We are at war,” Lieberman said. “I know enough from public statements made by Osama bin Laden and others as well as classified information I see to know the terrorists are actively planning, plotting to attack us again."
If this is what the Senator's "classified information" says, then he should be asking for a declaration of war on Al Queda and an American invasion of the tribal border region of Afghanistan & Pakistan.
If that's where the enemy, including Bin Laden is, then fucking attack them and be done with it.
Seriously. I'm not being jingoistic. Continuing the bullshit war in Iraq and the debate on whether or not waterboarding is torture is fucked. This bullshit has been going for 5 fucking years. It only feeds the MI complex and drains more borrowed billions from the empty treasury. There is no strategic purpose to this. No real goals are being served here.
Lieberman's own terms of reference (supposed hard evidence of terror event planning against the US) require direct action against Al Queda in Pakistan. If he can't come out and advocate this, what does he stand for, other than the failed, bullshit status quo?
Shame on U.S. @ 8:
What Israeli occupation of Iraq? I don't think Mearsheimer and Walt even agree with you. They do think there should be a more balanced US policy in the middle east and have criticized the Isaeli lobby, but they have never, ever, claimed that the US dances like a puppet on a string for Israel or that there is any Zionist conspiracy controlling the Bush regime. What we have in Iraq is a confluence of interests between right wing Zionists, the US Military Industrial Complex and Big Oil (far more powerful interests than any Israeli lobbying group). The US is the major player, not Israel. For the neo-cons, Israel is a strategic hamlet for US interests, nothing more.
As I suspected, LIEberman and Mccain want to carry on bush's crusade!
Love Ya some torture Eh Joe L . We'll they're just ARABS any way, right Israeli Firster hypocrite ? If Jews were in custody being barbaricly
tortured , you obviously would be singing a different tune and you obviously know little about the inhumane CRIMES you promote.
Water Boarding IS drowning, because the lungs , the brain and heart react in EXACTLY the same way , in usual drownings .
John West @ 10:
Bingo.
It's also been against the law ever since we had laws against torture. Or did we prosecute the Japanese officers for using water boarding simply because they were Japanese?
liberdouche wants to defend his country at our er all costs , israel!
“We are at war”
Right Joe the V2's are landing on London, Rosy the Riveter's are busy all across America contributing to the effort, the 101st is preparing to storm the beaches of Iran, and the Navy is taking on Osamas Naval Fleets in the pacific before they have a chance to hit Hawaii.
You just keep talking, Joe. And stand close to McCain while you do it. Thanks.
I guess we'll be at war for eternity. Oh, and if one of our soldiers is waterboarded by somebody in Iraq or wherever this "war" is, is that ok Mr. L?
Whats next torturing people because they don't want to start a war with us? Or won't buy our weapons so Republicans can load up their bank accounts at everyone else's expense?
Funny a Jew would be for torture considering the holocaust.
looks like Joe is trying very hard to fulfill the PNAC Prophecy
i want to know who voted for this idiot to begin with.
Joe wants fascism, where both parties agitate for war, plus he is turned on by shrieking for more war. People like him need couch time, not charting the direction for 300 million people. His voting record makes him a Repuke, why do any Democrats even speak to this man? He should be shunned.
Who are we at war with, Joe?
Urrrrrrnt! Time's up.
.
Holy Joe says we're at war...
We managed to prosecute the Japanese for their use of water torture after we were at war.
We were "AT WAR" during Vietnam when we Court Martialed our own US serviceman for water torture.
I want McCain and Lieberman to prove how our past stance was wrong, even during a time of war.
.
Holy Joe isn't worried about being water boarded because it would be almost impossible to do with his head so far up McCain's ass.
Joe Says . . . "We are at War" . .

WASHINGTON -- The United States last year provided nearly half of the weapons sold to militaries in the developing world, as major arms sales to the most unstable regions -- many already engaged in conflict -- grew to the highest level in eight years, new US government figures show.
"The Geneva Conventions don’t allow torture of prisoners, Senator.."
Memo to John West:
The U.S. military does not have any "prisoners". They are "enemy combatants".
Geesh...
Thanks to the Repubs (and the likes of Lieberman), America has lost its moral compass.
Lieberman??? I --ahh fuck it... You are a sorry excuse for a human being and pathetic flip-flopping politician... Torture is torture including waterboarding period.. And as such, is against the Geneva Accords and the laws of this nation... Even now...
Take your pathetic equivocating excuse making ass and just STFU!!!....JD
When I split my moral coil, I'm taking the fast track out of here on a one way trip to the farthest galaxy I can find safely away from these freaking Lizards. Thats the bottom line.
:-)
Except that that narrative is not true. Lieberman has always voted along with corporate interests and against the public on a wide variety of issues from insurance to banking. His votes were only to be depended on when it didn't matter allowing him to retain the mantle of a Democrat. When his vote was critical, he's always acted as a foil against Progressive policies and the interests of the Democratic party. Remember Terry Schiavo? Remember his
debatelove fest with Dick Cheney during the 2000 elections? What the hell...
Supreme Court Judge Scalia's apparently says it's okay too in certain circumstances...
Geesh, how far is this circus going to go?

Till they end up destroying the planet and leaving it incapable of sustaining any kind of life at the rate things are going.
What should be an easy refutation of Lieberman's idea that waterboarding is not torture is to have someone from our intrepid media ask Lieberman if he would still maintain that belief if the terrorists were to capture an American and then proceeded to torture that American through simulated drowning. Would he then still hold fast to his less than intelligent statement?
Excuse me? I'd like to report a typo in the above article.
Where Lieberman is quoted, I believe you typed 'classified information' when you meant to type 'utter bullshit'.
Just a heads up.
"The fact of the matter is, I know some in the party have differences with Joe. I'm going to go ahead and say it," Obama told the 1,700-plus party members who gathered in a ballroom at the Connecticut Convention Center for the $175-per-head fundraiser.
"I am absolutely certain Connecticut is going to have the good sense to send Joe Lieberman back to the U.S. Senate so he can continue to serve on our behalf," he said.
.....
During his 20 minute pep talk, Clinton tried to help Lieberman shake off the Iraq albatross by claiming, "No Democrat is responsible for the mistakes that have been made since the fall of Saddam Hussein."
Erroll @ 42:
Maybe Joe should volunteer to be waterboarded and I don't mean the made for Teevee kind we've seen put out for public consumption recently.
It's horrifying to watch all the conservatives get on board for torture: Scalia, Lieberman, Mukasey, etc.
Absolutely disgusting.
It's safe to say that Holocaust morality is dead.
this comes from an asshole who has forgotten about the holocaust.
well, it's ok to torture someone if he's not jewish? right joe?
LIEberman is not working for the best interests of America,
his boss is israel, whici is now just another terrorist state.
Hey, I believe stabbing your party brothers in the back is a "Most Extreme Circumstance"!!
Lay down on this board here Joe.
MN USA @ 35:
Oh, we still have a moral compass. It's just that this administration is reading it backwards.
Scooter @ 44:
He said that for only $175 a head?
Sheesh I can see $2700 and up might put on pressure but thats awful cheap.
Great point Joe, about needed to gather as much intel as possible, except when Bushco had intel saying "Bin Laden determined to attack inside the United States" he went to clear brush on his ranch...so I can only conclude that if Bushco found out about a new attack, Georgie would run right out and take his dog for a walk...or some other pointless activity that has nothing to do with safeguarding us!
So I guess what I'm saying Joe is ... SHUT UP!!!
Would somebody please ask Holy Joe, who declared war?
Richard @ 17:
You support Israel but you do not support torture. Interesting comment considering the IDF treatment of Palestinians has been nothing less than torture for the past 60+ years.
As for you being Jewish my comment has nothing to do with either you or Mr. Lieberman's religion. Now that you have chosen to play the crying towel religion card the question begs is Israel an Israeli State or a Jewish State? Mr. Lieberman has consistently voted on policy that favors Israel. Why? Especially, when US support of Israel as a strategic partner has not been particularly successful nor offered any substantial payback for $200B in US tax dollars.

Wow how generous. They are helping us buy new Teevees.
So waterboarding isn't torture, but it was when it was US service members being waterboarded. Well, that doesn't pass the sniff test; so, I guess we'll just say that waterboarding is torture.
So, Joe says waterboarding should be allowed in specific circumstances because we are at war. Well, that's quite the principled stance to be against torture when we don't have any enemies. I thought we had rules for difficult times, not just easy ones.
By the way, how could waterboarding be in accord with the Geneva conventions (which by the way, are US law too thanks to the War Crimes Act of 1996) if it is specifically prohibited by word and precedent.
The object of torture is torture. It has nothing to do with getting information or keeping us safe. We torture because we can torture and we are sadistic enough to want to torture.
L.A. Confidential @ 54:
So we watch them defend Waterboarding in High Definition very cleaver.

Two questions for Joe:
Date and time congress declared war and none of war powers act bullshit. When did congress declare war or are you a liar?
Do you have duel citizenship and if so where does your number one loyalty lie?
Hmm. Joe's okay with a paranoid government that's dehumanized an entire ethnic population to such an extent that heretofore decent people are indifferent to their government's torturing them in the name of national security? This scenario sounds familiar. Where have I heard this before?
why is this man called a "democrat"? he seems like a true bush republican. i mean...there's just no question about it. we should just start calling him Lieberman (R) like Fox does, but instead, with truth behind it this time.
When the huggy-kissy frat boys are gone we will immediately have to reconstruct the honor of our cherished nation before the world.
Water Torture is the least of our troubles. BushCo LLC have been playing checkers, while the Chinese have been playing chess, their future is bright due to the debt that they hold from our failed global policies. The Beijing Olympics are nothing more than window dressing, the Chinese are looking at a PNAC version of their own Chinese 21st century.
BushCo LLC have accumulated $1 trillion dollars of debt per anum for a total of $9 trillion. The beginning of the 21st century could be the make or break moment of the great American Democratic Experiment, and the scary part is that it only took 7 years to arrive at the edge of the precipice.
Before BushCo LLC commited our nation to the neocon version of American Exceptionalism they should have read the fine print in the owners manual about potential catastrophic outcome if you accumulate toxic amounts of public and private debt.........oops, wasn't that the job of the Secretary of the Treasury? Oh wait, he was fired by Cheney because he was not a team player...........you know, always whining about fiscal restraint here, and corporate governance there.
So getting back to Lieberman, he is a smart fellow and he knows how to obfuscate his message in order to protect the interest of the people who keep him in office.
If the subject of Water Torture can divert the MSM away from the possibility of our nation going to hell in a hand basket he will earn an Atta Boy from the 1% that he works for.
Remember in November who sold us out, and yes there were a few Dem. accomplices too.
Old Billy @ 57:
Old Billy I am not cranky nor am I no racist but since you wish to join the fray why not answer my questions instead of going off on some 'you dirty anti-Semitic' screed.
And there is no specifically about it Mr. Lieberman is a Jew and I am sure quite proud. If I were Jewish I probably would hold the same opinions and voting record as Mr. Lieberman. However, the question still begs as to how does allegiance affect Mr. Lieberman's voting record? Hypothetically, if the US were at war in Patagonia and detaining/torturing Argentines how do you think Lieberman would vote on adding waterboarding to our repertoire?
Max-1 @#32 says:

We are not at fucking war except here in the USA fighting for our freedom against the likes of people like joe, i don't know what you mods will say but I think we should form a committee to explore what WB entails and invite joe to be the first to experience the walk in the park that waterboarding is, voluntarily of course. I have read, if it has been mentioned I apologize, of people suffering PTSD as a result of the training that includes waterboarding. The mere fact that people parse this tells me we better mobilize everyone we can (a big Duh) to fight for our rights, if we do not, it won't matter what political stripe the president is we will lose the battle because this manure pile of humanity will not quit.
Excellent... Joe you be first in line to try out this not-torture-waterboarding, will ya?! C'mon! If you're correct, it's not torture but fun. Give it a try... C'mon Joe... put your money where your (big fat gaping) mouth is...

I suppose it depends...
I suppose, then, Lieberman would excuse the SS from squeezing information from Jewish resistance fighters, only adding, that the resistance fighters are free to return the favor?
The real reason, I believe, that Lieberman and an earlier torture advocate, the repelent, vulgar Alan Dershowitz, support this is because the Israelis do it and by definition they Israel can do no wrong. Lieberman is at about the same level as the rightwing spin machine, the rightists in Israel whisper in his ear and Lieberman speaks.
What has happened to the Israel of Yizhak Rabin? Hijacked by people with employing policies unhappily reminiscent of the fascists.
We didn't use waterboarding against the Nazis or the Communists, even though they both were very dangerous and powerful enemies. Beside, when will this war ever "end"?

Eh, I'm too lazy to type explanations, and I figure everybody else has covered the basics but I suppose what I was thinking was:
If indeed we are getting the truth on the extent of the torture (waterboarding, stress positions, sleep/sensory deprivation, limited physical abuse) , which is highly disputable, from Mr. Government, then
A. [I don't have the specific citation, and don't feel like looking for it but] I've read that, generally, as specifics are classified, the experience of American Military Forces going to S.E.R.E. School (an instruction on resisting torture) is similar to methods of "interrogation" used on Detainees. [Caveat: this comes from a military source]
B.The Detainees have gone through 5 whole years of this. The American Military Forces only go through a very limited period
(albeit extremely difficult) period [don't know specifics, but I heard a week}
Granted, Detainees in all probability don't go through this every single day, however, I thought it very interesting to note the time difference.
Sorry for all the brackets as well. :(
I thought I made it perfectly clear, no more Joe Lieberman threads!
The keys that spell out "FUCK YOU, JOE" are almost worn out on my keyboard.
AshWilliams @ 73:
Sorry I didn't see the comment, and I don't know all the facts about the detainees, and forgive me but I want to know the facts so when I argue or discuss with someone I can provide them free of charge to the sleepwalkers, having said that it would not surprise me one bit, if they say they have only done it, what , twice isn't it, you damn well know they have done it many times over. I write these words and get so angry at the ugliness that this administration has cast on the world..... I think it is time to have some laughs...

As we know from recent reports and world events over the last 8 years, 'classified information' is generally BS and propaganda by org crime and crooked political parties.
Lieberman should read this:
According to US law these people are guilty of war crimes. Would you please write a column on this?
The War Crimes Act
§ 2441. War crimes
(a) Offense.— Whoever, whether inside or outside the United States, commits a war crime, in any of the circumstances described in subsection (b), shall be fined under this title or imprisoned for life or any term of years, or both, and if death results to the victim, shall also be subject to the penalty of death.
(b) Circumstances.— The circumstances referred to in subsection (a) are that the person committing such war crime or the victim of such war crime is a member of the Armed Forces of the United States or a national of the United States (as defined in section 101 of the Immigration and Nationality Act).
(c) Definition.— As used in this section the term “war crime” means any conduct—
(1) defined as a grave breach in any of the international conventions signed at Geneva 12 August 1949, or any protocol to such convention to which the United States is a party;
(2) prohibited by Article 23, 25, 27, or 28 of the Annex to the Hague Convention IV, Respecting the Laws and Customs of War on Land, signed 18 October 1907;
(3) which constitutes a violation of common Article 3 of the international conventions signed at Geneva, 12 August 1949, or any protocol to such convention to which the United States is a party and which deals with non-international armed conflict; or
(4) of a person who, in relation to an armed conflict and contrary to the provisions of the Protocol on Prohibitions or Restrictions on the Use of Mines, Booby-Traps and Other Devices as amended at Geneva on 3 May 1996 (Protocol II as amended on 3 May 1996), when the United States is a party to such Protocol, willfully kills or causes serious injury to civilians

AshWilliams Says
Are you saying that the school puts people though this once, while detainees experience multiple times over long periods of time. That is what I assume you are saying.
My thought would be, why analyze it, I am talking about all of us, this is not an attack of any sort, it is pure and simple beyond the bounds of what one human should do to another any time, anywhere, for any reason at all. We had all the intelligence pre 911 we needed to prevent an attack with investigative intelligence and hard work, it was just not, for so many reasons, many of them egregious, and the direct cause of so much death at the WTC, paid any attention to as you all know. What I am saying is the bogus argument of imminent danger scenario as a preventive tool is a false argument full of holes, if you didn't know in advance with raw intelligence, what anyone tells you after WB is certainly not going to be reliable or effective at preventing anything in my humble opinion.
Maddy @ 89:
Crap, I wish I could remember where I had seen that comparison. Sorry.
Yeah, you're damn right. Things have gotten way too dark during the past 8 years.
It's just ridiculous, it's way too dark and we still don't even know the extent of the void; all we know is up to s certain depth, and that's certainly depth enough.
This whole administration just amazes me. I mean, it would be one thing if they saw the torture, stopped it, and then admitted and apologized. But to torture, then lie, lie, and lie some more?
The whole demeanor of Repubs is coated with secrecy and intimidation, not just on terror, but every single issue.

And who is Joe Lieberman's biggest supporter?
Who calls him his mentor?
Who flew across the country to appear with him on stage during the CT primary to oppose Ned Lamont?
Your lover, Barack Obama.
Deal with it.
Torture supporters Lieberman and Dershowitz are not good Jews by any stretch of the imagination. They do more harm than good to Jewish people everywhere and damage the reputation of the state of Israel. Their fanatical attacks on anyone critical of Israeli policies does nothing more than dilute the concept of anti-Semitism and lends unwarranted credibility to real anti-Semites. They are far to the right of most Israeli citizens and Jewish Americans and tolerate policies that they would consider repulsive. Their support of torture and rejection of international treaties defiles the suffering and murder of the millions who died and were tortured at the hands of the NAZI party who the foundation of the UN and Geneva Conventions were meant to prevent similar atrocities from ever occurring again. They do not understand a central tenant of Judaism which is a Mitzvah (good deed). Their allying with the far right is an inherent anathema to Jewish thought, religious principles and politics. Most Jews find little sympathy for their politics and tend to align themselves with Left, Liberal and Progressive movements as well as human rights. To generalize and say that they hold the political positions that they do because they are Jewish is sheer ignorance at best. At worst, it is racism. Think of good Jewish politicians and political and human rights and civil rights activists. Think of Bernie Sanders, Russ Feingold, Paul Wellstone, Barbara Boxer and other politicians who transcend any mere identity politics and stand consistently for justice, peace and civil liberties.
Maddy @ 97

And before you start protesting, I AM Israeli. I speak Hebrew too if you want to quiz me and happen to speak it.
By the way? What does support for Israel mean? Do you get to pick and choose what aspects you support and what aspects you prefer to ignore? I've heard numerous Jewish Americans say they support peace in the Middle East, but when asked about the deatails one soon finds out their version of peace is the complete annihilation or at the very least the ghettofication of the Palestinians, reducing them from a nation to a bunch of hapless refugees.
PS: I don't believe in slogans.

can't sleep ran across your post..About Boehner, I called that son of a bitch this morning and I don't suppose I was too smooth, after I asked why he(aid) would betray the very thing he swore an oath to uphold vis a vis the spying on us. I essentially called him a traitor and told him he looked like a fool child taking his marbles and going home because he lost his cleary. What scumbags we have in office. I think I also mentioned in case he didn't know, that the signers of those documents risked their very lives to pen those words that have so well served us, and for some helmet headed polyester suit to cheapen them was disgusting.
Sorry all I am having an anger management problem these days.
You can tell that LIE-berman never wore a U.S. uniform. My time in Vietnam everyone in country had to carry and memorise a card that told you how to treat a prisnor and there was NO TORTURE of any kind PERMITED. If cought breaking these rules you could be tried under the MILTARY CODE OF JUSTICE AND SENT OF TO FT.LEVINWORTH FROM 3 to 5 years then given a D.D. I say lets try waterboarding on LIE-berman and find out if he is realy a DEMOCRAT.
Shame on U.S. @ 68:

Mr Lieberman,
look up the fbi website, Uncle Bin is not on the list for 'wanted for 911', sorry son but you are a dimwit. Not only that, Bin's first interview stated something to the effect that in regard to 911, that the US should look inside.
How long are you Americans going to accept lies and misinformation? The twin towers AND building No 7 were blown 'up' with preplanned explosions. Read David Ray Griffin's book; 'Debunking 911 Debunkers", look up the power point seminars by Ricahrd Cage (from Canada). Wake up America, you are a country of suckers and now, losers. Look up patriotsquestion 911.com and tell General Wesley Clarke that he is a "nutter'.
The Nutters are people like Lieberman who are really warmongers. America, I am sad to say from Australia; "get Lost" ,whilst you have these idiots influencing your role in the world.

I am always struck with a sense of dark and evil irony whenever I hear a Jew espousing and defending the methods of nazis.
Finially there is a concensus about War. I think the major here would agree, war is when your opponent (enemy) attacks you on your own territory. Vietnam was an occupation. The communist have never been a threat to USA. I saw a video back in the 50's where fascist bussiness men made up communist threat against Bannana laborores in Quatamala. It was a hoax back then and is a hoax today. Terrorist is made up by the CIA.
Traitor Joe...The pride of Connecticutt!
Here's Joe Tortureman:
A person being drowned is not in danger? Lieberman is right that drowning people doesn’t leave marks on the body like burning them. Just as using a revolver to commit murder doesn’t leave spent brass at the crime scene as an automatic pistol would. So by Lieberman’s thinking, murder is acceptable if you don’t leave evidence behind.
Small wonder then, that this moral pustule would support the upcoming lynchings scheduled for Guantanamo. Like water torture, wearing gloves with a bloody knife or making sure to leave no shell casings at the crime scene, rubbing out witnesses to war crimes, through the use of kangaroo courts, gets rid of the evidence.
It’s also the kind of sick joke that sadistic little minds like Joe Lieberman’s can truly appreciate. In a demented sort of way, Joe Tortureman is being consistent: He wants to leave no evidence behind.
One too many mini-strokes I suppose.
