Confusing reports about Congresswoman Tubbs Jones UPDATED
CNN reported earlier that she passed away from an aneurysm, and now they are retracting that and reporting she is in critical condition. Out of respect for her and her family we are pulling the story until we have further word.
Our best wishes to her....
Update: There are continuing conflicting stories, her doctors are holding a press conference. Our continued best wishes to her and we are sorry for any part we played in the confusion...
Let's hope and pray for the best.

What a media.
They can't even get an obituary right.

Good move on C&L's part. I can't imagine how her family felt when they heard those erroneous news reports.
I really hope she is ok.
I have to mention something ugly, though. I went out for an errand in my car about an hour ago, and I accidentally heard Rush Limpballs say something about this. (I never listen to the guy unless I have the local radio statio on in my car, which I often to, to listen to the CBS hourly news.)
After reports that Congresswoman Tubbs was not dead, Limpballs asked, "I wonder if Obama was anywhere nearby." Limpballs always calls Obama the "messiah," so mr. limpdick was implying that Obama, if nearby, used his "messianic" powers.
Limpballs is such a hateful son of a bitch. He is thoroughly disgusting and has no shame. For him to make a joke about this, well, I'd better stop...my blood pressure is getting too high. People like Limpballs and Insanity are hate mongers, and they are mouthpieces for the Repug party. They just make me so sick to my stomach.
I watched the faux report on this. The blonde helmet head and the pretend reporter guy first did their another Ohio Obama voter dead dance,constantly reminding us that she was a liberal Clinton supporter when blondie turns to fake reporter and says,"I'm so happy I just peed my pants and to make it even better, terrorists crashed a plane in Spain. I hope Rupert is watching. Maybe he'll give me a raise and a Peabody." Fake reporter replies, "big deal, I've got a boner over this. Get over here and service me or I'll tell Roger"
Now blockhead Cavuto is getting into the act, blaming the crash on the labor unions and defending airline Ceos because it's really Obama's fault for raising oil prices. He's also saying "uh,oh, Obama's going to appoint a male VP- he must hate women."
Huff Post is reporting that LIEberman will actually speak at RNC the first night.
So, he propably won't be the VP.
Strip the prick of his commitee chair.
Heck of a story for CNN to bungle. Best wishes to her regardless.

No apologies necessary C&L when you're dealing with the media you're void of facts. Either way best wishes for Tubbs and her family.
This is driving me nuts..... it is a ruptured aneurysm. Millions of people have aneurysm's all over their bodies, it is only when they are pressing on tissues/organs, start leaking OR rupture that they cause life threatening situations.
IT IS THE rupture of that aneurysm.... not the aneurysm it self.

My thoughts and prayers go out to the Senator's family and friends during this tragic time.
I also extend my thoughts and prayers for Rep. Tubbs-Jones' family as well. This is a crushing blow especially because I would tune in to C-SPAN and watch her powerful speeches in Congress.
Although I disagreed with her about her support for Hillary Clinton, I am still appreciative of her strength of character, eloquent words and presence that was clearly felt not only in her home state but in the rest of the country.
She will be sorely missed not only as a pioneering Congresswoman in her home state, but as a mark of inspiration in the face of courage when dealing with the shenanigans of the Bush administration (i.e. speaking up against the election results in Ohio).
RIP and most sincerest thanks for your service to our country--both as an American and a strong black woman.
My heart is breaking. What a magnificent woman!! I hope she is now hanging out with Barbara Jordan & Carrie Meek. What a lady!
