Daylin Leach campaign releases video "welcoming" Bill Clinton to Philadelphia (PA-13)
Elkins Park, PA, April 10 — Today, Daylin Leach's congressional campaign released a video welcoming former President Bill Clinton to Philadelphia. Clinton is in town to campaign for Marjorie Margolies.

The video can be viewed here: http://votedaylin.com/daylin-welcomes-president-bill-clinton-to-philadel...

The video, featuring Leach's daughter Brennan Leach, focuses on Margolies' decision to campaign on a single action taken over 20 years ago, rather than address any current issues relevant to voters in the 13th Congressional district — choosing to always talk about the past instead of the future.

However, when Margolies discusses her past record, she neglects to mention the legislation she championed that would have ended Social Security as we know it by raising the retirement age and limiting seniors' cost of living income adjustments. According to Margolies at the time, this legislation was absolutely necessary because "If we do nothing, the [Social Security] system will go belly up in about the year 2013."(http://tinyurl.com/kw5wr62)

Understandably, Bill Clinton has distanced himself from Margolies' Social Security plan, telling the Philadelphia Inquirer that "We do not want to deal with a problem like the deficit by (creating) income stagnation among the elderly." (http://tinyurl.com/kv2xqpk)

The Clinton visit comes on the heels of Margolies refusing to participate in all but one debate or candidate forum, not campaigning in front of voters, and having the lowest amount of campaign money available out of all the candidates in the race.
