Watch sleazy Ted Cruz behave like the sociopath he is in that video. Reporter asks him about his horrible Joe Biden joke, and he feigns sadness for Vice President Biden's loss of his son, Beau.

But when asked why he told a Biden joke during his speech, he walks away. No remorse, no regret, nothing. Just dead eyes.

Q: Could you talk about the vice president losing his son this week?

CRUZ: Heartbreaking and tragic, and our prayers are very much with Vice President Biden, with Jill. It's a tragedy no one should have to endure.

Q: Why'd you tell a joke about the vice president tonight?

CRUZ: Uh .... [walks away]

Most of you already know Cruz is a man without conscience or character. But anyone who can do this to a man who is grieving the loss of his son for political point-scoring is just a psychopath. That's all.

Here he is joking about Vice President Joe Biden.

The audience laughed. That's just as sick as Cruz telling it.

Cruz did apologize for it on Facebook and Twitter.

"It was a mistake to use an old joke about Joe Biden during his time of grief, and I sincerely apologize. The loss of his son is heartbreaking and tragic, and our prayers are very much with the Vice President and his family," Cruz wrote.

Of course he did. I'm sure his comms director was apoplectic about it, but the thing here to remember is that Cruz actually said this thing with no thought as to what he was saying at the time. Sorry, but that's the hallmark of a sociopath.
