As Trump was giving a speech to the Evangelical forum, a few protesters interrupted him, which stopped after they were escorted out.

Just as Donald Trump was getting his Hillary bashing schtick on at today's Evangelical Forum in DC, a group of hecklers stopped him dead in his tracks.

After declaring Hillary "unfit to be President" (is he for real?), and accusing her of wanting a "500% increase in Syrian refugees," he was met with some chants apparently saying "No Faith."

The pro-Trump folks responded with a loud outpouring of boos and cheers of "USA".

I've heard reports that these protesters were not Faith and Freedom types, but were from Code Pink. That's unfortunate, because it plays into Trump's narrative that these are "outside agitators." That said, Code Pink clearly has a higher sense of morality than the evangelical grifters of F&F. Denouncing and banning an entire group of innocent refugees who are fleeing certain death from terrorists because of their religion, is the most un-Christ-like thing imaginable. You'd think self-proclaimed Evangelicals would know better.

Trump seemed to initially assume they were clapping or cheering, so he froze like an orange faced deer in headlights, but then started to look out in the crowd to ascertain what was really going on. He called the protesters "rude" and "very sad" but at least he didn't request that they be "taken care of" an offer to pay the legal bills of his attack dog minions.

Ralph Reed can breathe a sigh of relief that Trump didn't stray too far from his teleprompter, this time.
