After his rally of lies in New Hampshire today, Donald Trump made a beeline for Anderson Cooper to give an interview expanding on his "I know you are, but what am I" attacks on Hillary Clinton.
He doubled down on his claim that Hillary Clinton is a bigot, though we're not exactly sure what proof he is offering of this.
Cooper called Trump out on his claim Clinton is a bigot.
"She is, if you look at what is happening to the inner cities, African-Americans, Hispanics, she talks all of the time, she said the vets have been treated essentially just fine," he began.
"How is she a bigot?," Cooper pressed.
He replied, "She is selling them down the tubes, because she's not doing anything for those communities. She talks a good game."
Cooper once again tried to get an answer. "You're saying she has hatred or --"
"Her policies are bigoted because she knows they're not going to work," Trump replied, fishing for a response.
"You're saying she is bigoted," Cooper once again asked. How many times does he have to look for a direct answer? Apparently a few more times.
Trump answered, "Yes, because her policies and others that believe like she does also. She came out with policies over the years. over the years, a long time, totally bigoted." (Still no facts)
Cooper tries again. "But does she have hatred towards --"
"I think she has been extremely extremely bad for African-Americans, extremely bad for Hispanics," Trump interrupted. "You look at what's happened with her policies and the policies of President Obama and others. Look at the poverty, the rise in poverty. the rise in violence."
Cooper gave it one final effort. "But hatred is at the core of that?"
Trump had the last word. "Or maybe she's lazy."
Hillary Clinton has rolled out specific policies to deal with income inequality, veterans, student loan debt relief, small business creation, and jobs.
Where are Trump's plans? He thinks he's just going to sit and call Clinton a lazy bigot and get away with it.
