Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump this week defended his history of insulting women by insisting that he had only done it for the "purpose of entertainment."
During an interview in Las Vegas on Wednesday, KSNV's Jim Snyder wondered if Trump could understand why it was hurtful to call women pigs, slobs and dogs since he had two daughters.
"A lot of that was done for the purpose of entertainment, there's nobody that has more respect for women than I do," Trump replied.
"Are you trying to tone it down now?" Snyder pressed.
"It's not a question of trying, it's very easy," the GOP candidate replied.
Just days ago, Miss Universe Alicia Machado accused Trump of calling her "Miss Piggy" because she had gained weight during her rein. The billionaire responded in a Fox News interview last week by once again complaining about Machado's weight.
