On Monday, failed Republican statehouse candidate Solomon Peña was arrested with his connections to a string of shootings aimed at the homes of several New Mexico Democratic officials.

NBC News reported, "Pena is accused of conspiring with and paying four men to carry out shootings at the Albuquerque-area homes of two Bernalillo County commissioners and two state legislators, Albuquerque police said."

However, on Fox News, the network barely mentioned this heinous act throughout the week. New Mexico UFOs and Alec Baldwin were mentioned many more times.

I searched on TVEyes for the term 'New Mexico' and found that on Monday and Tuesday of this week after Pena was arrested, Tucker Carlson mentioned UFOs in New Mexico 4 times.

As for Pena, on Tuesday, Fox News mentioned the shootings twice the entire day. Once was during a press briefing from Biden's press secretary (2:22:49 PM ), and another was on Bret Baier's program Special Report (6:10:43 PM)

The shootings were briefly mentioned twice on Wednesday. Fox News@Night With Trace Gallagher at 12:11:13 AM and later that day with Neil Cavuto at 4:55:20 PM.

On Thursday, it was mentioned on America Reports with John Roberts & Sandra Smith at 1:41:37 PM.

On Thursday alone, in relation to Alec Baldwin and the tragedy of the shooting he was involved in New Mexico, it was reported 24 times on Fox News.

That's in one day.

Not a single evening host mentioned the shootings in New Mexico the entire week.

If Republican officials in a state had their homes shot at by a Democrat, it would be plastered 24 hours a day on Fox News.

This is what Fox News and other right-wing media outlets do. They ignore negative stories as much as possible for Republicans and incessantly embellish nonsensical culture wars and soft-on-crime nonsense.
