On Victory Channel's Flashpoint, a Christian nationalist broadcast, Colorado representative Lauren Boebert claimed God told her to introduce articles of impeachment against President Biden.

Trying to make herself out to be a prophet, "I'm not calling myself an historic figure, but....."

"All glory to God. This is grace. This is God's empowerment and His ability and staying grounded, rooted in the Word of God, out of the abundance of the heart, the mouth speaks," Boebert said.

Claiming she's hearing voices she continued.

"And I am directed and led by Him. You know, there was pressure for me not to introduce the articles of impeachment tonight, well, not introduce them, but to bring them up and call them for a vote," she said.

This morning she introduced those articles.

Anyone that claims they speak for God or he has spoken to them to implement dangerous and unconstitutional Christian nationalism has lost the argument.

Let's just say if God told her to impeach Biden, it did not go over well. Even the QAnon Klan Mom was upset because she "stole her idea."

Our pals at Right Wing Watch caught it on video.

Here's a possibility: Boebie knows there's a very strong chance she'll lose her House seat to Adam Frisch next year. So she's either pushing hard to solidify the support of evangelical voters in her district, or she's bumping up her bonafides to transition to the "money express revival grift" exemplified by General Michael Flynn and company. Maybe both.

Preaching Christian Nationalism from a House seat or a pulpit, she's had lots of practice.

Other Republican lawmakers were furious as well and called Boebert's actions frivolous.

This shouldn’t be playground games, in my view. This should be serious,” Rep. Don Bacon (R-Neb.) groused Wednesday. “If there’s real facts for impeachment then you go there. But doing this is wrong, and I think the majority of the conference feels that way.”

“I think that things like impeachment are one of the most awesome powers of the Congress, it’s not something you should flippantly exercise in two days. And I think that it actually undermines efforts to hold people accountable in the future,” Rep. Garret Graves (R-La.), a close McCarthy ally, told reporters.
