Michigan's electoral votes will be bitterly contested twixt now and then. It's important to remember the fate that would have fallen Detroit--and Dearborn, and Livonia, and Hamtramck, and all the other areas that rely on that industry--had Mitt been at the helm.

By their own words, bills, and actions the Republican Party has made it clear that they care only for the rich and rich corporations. They have tried to undo the programs that have brought you a living wage, healthcare, safety, clean air and water and public education, fire services and parks.
They have been against taxing the only people in America who wouldn't feel the difference, changing laws that give corporations tax breaks for sending your jobs overseas and child labor laws!

The auto industry and all others industries relating to cars where saved by PRESIDENT OBAMA. Nobody could buy cars at that time. All the world industrial countries helped their auto productions that make those politicians in America prove that they are racist and should really be taken out of office.

During my time here at C&L I have seen the term "troll" used rather "liberally" when it comes to those who disagree with the "Status quo" (Obama and the Democrats), but never has this word (troll) been applied to those here who blindly "cheer lead" for the Democrats and Obama?

Obama bailed out the auto companies; he also voted for TARP! ObamaCare bailed out the Health Insurance companies by assuring them customers with government checks in their back pockets; bailing out the Auto companies after forcing the Union workers to give up 50% of what they fought for over the years and allowing GM to hire new workers as "Temporary" workers " with lower pay and benefits is nothing to cheer about.

Issuing loans to the car companies was the right thing to do, unless you want Americans to be unemployed. Of course, the Penthouse Party wants high unemployment, so they can break unions and then get by with paying lower and lower wages. That's behind the push to get rid of teachers and public schools. Turn it over to the private sector for a higher cost, then those who can't afford the extra cost of those schools because the voucher doesn't pay the full tuition and the school won't accept the student, can be the 50 cents a day low wage slaves that the righties want. Of course, the un-moneyed righties, who have totally deluded themselves into thinking they too will someday be rich, will get an awful surprise when they find out that their masters also have them in mind for those low-wage slaves.
