I watched the right's reaction yesterday to the bomb attacks in Boston, and their tweets fell into three broad categories: condemnation of Islam, bashing the media for blaming "conservatives" (it's telling that these people self-identify with anti-government extremists) and the obligatory Obama sucks variety (just because).

I watched the right's reaction yesterday to the bomb attacks in Boston, and their tweets fell into three broad categories: condemnation of Islam, bashing the media for blaming "conservatives" (it's telling that these people self-identify with anti-government extremists) and the obligatory Obama sucks variety (just because).

Of course, they were eager to speculate that the culprit was an A-rab, but were outraged by any speculation whatsoever that the attack could be the work of an anti-government extremist.

Warning: this is a great deal of stupid to consume in a brief time.
