What if this was Obama instead of McCain? Would people cry foul and racism for making fun of him? The comments I have read so far goes to show how for one side it is ok, but for the other side it would be called racism, hate mongering, etc...

If yours is a serious post, this is a very serious matter that should be looked into. We cannot have another mentally incompetent person in the WH. We already know what that can bring - e.g., Nixon, Bush lite, etc.
that the 72 year old candidate will NOT release his medical history. He allowed 3 reporters a couple of hours to examine his medical record. The only doctor among them was Dr. Gupta of CNN. He said that the reporters were not allowed to take notes or ask questions, that the pages weren't numbered (therefore, there was no way to tell if these were complete records.)
The strange movements, tics,etc. and possibly hidden health problems of a 4 time camcer patient who endured mental and physical torture for 2.5 years makes the inexperience and other negative aspects of his running mate pretty troubling.
AND, this was only for the last eight years. his records before that have yet to be released.

THE NOMINATING process this year produced two unusually talented and qualified presidential candidates. There are few public figures we have respected more over the years than Sen. John McCain. Yet it is without ambivalence that we endorse Sen. Barack Obama for president.
The choice is made easy in part by Mr. McCain's disappointing campaign, above all his irresponsible selection of a running mate who is not ready to be president. It is made easy in larger part, though, because of our admiration for Mr. Obama and the impressive qualities he has shown during this long race. Yes, we have reservations and concerns, almost inevitably, given Mr. Obama's relatively brief experience in national politics. But we also have enormous hopes.
