C&L's Bipartisan Campaign with Michelle Malkin: 'Send a Message to Sarah Palin'

In an effort to reach out across the aisle and work with Michelle Malkin, I am offering to join in on the "Send a message to Sarah Palin" that she's part of as a way to bridge the gap between our differences.
I'd like all C&L readers to send a message to Sarah Palin, thanking her for helping Barack Obama win the Presidency in such a dominant fashion. We couldn't have asked for more. She did a great job in making sure that Obama did receive a mandate by the American people to try and help heal this great nation from all the damage done to it by Conservatism and Conservatives like Michelle.
I'd personally like to thank the wonderfully insightful interview Sarah Palin did with Katie Couric that really made it clear how qualified she was to be Vice President. So go here and join me in sending a lovely message to Sarah Palin.
I think we must all begin to do what we can to help heal this country and stop all this partisan bickering.

As much fun as this is, and as big of a bitch as Malkin is, remember that we will actually have to work with these people if we're going to accomplish anything.
I don't think "working" was ever a part of the Palin picture. She would have been a puppet - pure and simple. "Shut up, do what you're told, wear this, no -don't open your mouth, smile and wave . . . ."

Did you know Africa is a country and Nigeria was one of it's states? Isn't it great there are patriotic pro-African areas of their great African nation?
That's why I wanted to thank her for doing such a great job for Repigs in 2008, and encourage her to get ready for 2012.

Being an Obama supporter what better could I wish for ? She did it all herself, chopped off any/all McSame's points, even dramatically improved SNL ratings, which were in the dump for years.
Too bad she cannot keep the civilized clothing loot and train in front of the mirror. Reports all over state the GOP LAWYERS have been dispatched to Alaska to inventory, pack and send back (wherever the 'back' is) the clothing she took and keeps in Alaska - since there isn't much she could use this clothing for in Alaska, can someone tell her all of it will be OUT of style in 2012 ?
In the meantime I hope Todd will build her a great IGLOO White House, where she can stay in storage until 2012, without doing too much damage - especially she might get mighty upset once Alaskeens decide to remove her from the Governess slot.
2012 couldn't be that different from her stellar 2008 performance. Just keep in mind she took 6 years in 5 mediocre schools to get ONE 4 year degree - and, that was at her 'prime'. My sacrifice will be to keep sane despite her shrill in the air. With her around, Obama will be safe for the next 4 years, and 2012 SNL's ratings will hit stratosphere.
For a female student, hints at a couple of unwanted pregnancies and having to fix them, then starting over again at a new school at the start of the next school year.
Or she could be really dense and had to retake two years, but doing it over five schools suggests expulsion for bad behavior or unteachable.
I eagerly await Oliver Stone's movie on the life and times of Sarah 'the Plank', but I suspect we will have to wait 10 years or so, she has plenty of comedy potential left in her.

Obama won because he is intelligent and classy. We can emulate him while still keeping an eye on the wingnuts. Maybe in the process we can convince a few that our ideas aren't so bad after all.
i'll have this feeling probably wrong but i have this feeling Obama had a few laughs behind the scenes, at the expense of Palin and Joe the plumber.

An Open Letter to Alaska Governor Sarah Palin
Dear Governor Palin,
Welcome back to Alaska. As you've already commented, there is a lot of work to be done here. Listening to your interview at the airport yesterday evening, it seems you've already mostly dropped the Prairie Home Companion accent you acquired for the presidential campaign. I hope you've left a lot of the other stuff you acquired during the campaign behind, too.
I hope you plan on holding a free-ranging, open-ended press conference very soon. I hope you invite any press that can make it there to attend. Including Alaska and Outside bloggers. Your candidacy brought Alaska into the national and international spotlight more than any event in our history, including the ongoing Corrupt Bastards trials, the Great Alaska Earthquake, and the Exxon Valdez oil spill.
Hundreds of journalists came to Alaska from all over the world. Perhaps, including their supporting team members, they numbered almost a thousand. Some revisited old stories about your political history. Others brought out new information. Overall, their coverage of your improbable rise from Wasilla Planning Commission member to U.S. vice presidential candidate, helped a nation and world understand why you were so thoroughly unfit to be such a candidate. That information, combined with your thorough ineptness on the campaign trail, have made you the biggest political laughingstock of the 21st century.
There are many unanswered questions resulting from investigations into your official conduct, and from your unavailability to answer them in a meaningful way. Before you were selected to be Senator John McCain's running mate, I thought you to be a competent Governor of Alaska. But that selection, which I felt to be inappropriate from first thought, and your conduct on the campaign trail, have led me and tens of thousands of other Alaskans to re-think our earlier, favorable impression of you as Governor.
From your airport comments last night, it almost seems like you expect Alaskans to shoulder the burden of accepting a new Sarah Palin. I take exception to your notion. It is you, Madam Governor, who needs to shoulder the burden of explaining the new, more detailed version of Sarah Palin that has emerged in history.

I won't go there. Obama was above this in his campaign and he proved that vile evil people do lose every once in a while to the better of us. His message of "Change" and refusal to smear McCain built a bridge that influenced even some very unexpected names to cross over it.
Real compassion will go a lot further than animosity.
However, I have zero compassion for Malkin. She's one of the most hateful people on this earth, but I still wouldn't wish harm on her. You brought a lot of enthusiasm, light, meaning and purpose to not only the Republican Party but to this whole nation and the world. While it is true that we should be grateful; we should not be mean to her.
On the contrary, we should encourage her to become even more active in the Republican Party.

It must feel great to be back home in Alaska. You still have some time to show off all those nice expensive clothes before the Republican Party - your party - operatives arrive to take them back and hock them. No doubt they'll be sad to have to leave you in Alaska, it sounds as if they've been delighted to have you on the ticket, providing them needed comic relief to assuage the stress of launching the most disgraceful campaign ever run in the United States (one of the countries in NAFTA) and wrecking their futures in politics.
Best of luck in your future endeavors. Maybe now that, thanks to you, the McCain campaign has been "eated," you can provide your youngsters, especially that sweet baby, with the mothering you and your fundamentalist buddies like to tell every other mom (hockey or non-) they should provide. ... I do wish Sarah Palin well because the story here is larger than her. It involves her children/family and the people of Alaska. I hope, knowing the history of her eldest two children that Sarah will become a better parent. Her children need and deserve that. Trig especially needs that. And the people of Alaska deserve an effective Governor and an end to the antics and grandstanding. She needs to rebuild herself for the betterment of her family and Alaska, not for a long-shot personal gain in 2012. After all that's happened, I hope she has at last learned that. I've heard she's a fast learner.

wow all this high road is giving me a headache. sarah palin lied through her teeth routinely. palin represents the anti-intellectual movement/faction of the social conservatives. i understand NOT
kicking someone when they're down, but palin has some of this coming. in addition to that, i believe
it's good for these palin supporters/voters to do some thinking. maybe the republicans and the social
conservative base will take the responsibilty of vetting/picking a vice president candidate with more
seriousness/care. clearly palin is NOT prepared/right for the v.p. position. had she gotten in the oval office who knows what may have happened. i say let the comedy continue. it will become a nonissue

I visited a "friend" of mine today. He was an ardent Ron Paul supporter.
He has been sending me emails for the last few months listing every scurrilous rumor and bull$hit lie about Obama him and his cohorts could come up with. From Infowars nonsense, to the CFR and Illuminati conspiracy baloney.
The last piece of his huffing and puffing was about Berg's lawsuit challenging Obama's birth in Hawai'i.
He would have nothing to do with the truth, but clings mightily to the bull.
So I visited him today. It took about 1 minute for him to begin labeling anybody that voted for Obama as a brain-washed (expletive removed)idiot. The election was a fraud, Obama is a corporate puppet, etc, etc.
After his red face became ridiculous, I couldn't take it anymore and left.
Have no doubt that the losers of this election are never going to work with the democrats. They are going to cling to any lie or rumor that comes there way that justifies their hatred and anger.

The fact that the rabble rousing they deliberately engaged in resulted in greatly heightened protection from the Secret Service -- no biggie. The fact that hate radio is now, from coast to coast, loudly encouraging that Obama be taken down, in what sounds very much like a call to violence, well, what's wrong with that? After all, a lot of US did it in the 60's.
I think after everything that's gone down these last few weeks and months, we get to have a little fun before we're done with Sarah Palin. I want to crush her spirit enough that her family just says "No" when she thinks about rising from the ashes.
