Donald Trump's new job application: 'Grifter position available.'

Ralph Reed comes a calling.

And Reed is already fluffing the Donald. In an statement to Christian Broadcast Network, Reed said:

“There is a nascent and growing curiosity in the faith community about Trump. Evangelicals will like his pro-life and pro-marriage stances, combined with his business record and high-wattage celebrity all but guarantee he will get a close look from social conservatives as well as other Republican primary voters.

Sounds like Reed is already helping Trump run the hustle.

How many marriages does it take for a Republican candidate to have before he's called pro-marriage?

UPDATE
: Ralph Reed is turning down the job:

Longtime religious conservative advocate Ralph Reed is denying reports that he has talked to Republican real estate mogul Donald Trump about heading his 2012 presidential campaign.

In an email to The Huffington Post, Reed, who rose to fame as head of the Christian Coalition only to be tripped up in a scandal over his association with disgrace lobbyist Jack Abramoff, said he has no designs of getting involved in the next White House race. “Because of my involvement with Faith and Freedom Coalition, I do not plan to work on a presidential campaign in 2012,” he said.

The Brody Files report was illuminating since Tony Perkins thought he could get support from Evangelicals. I laughed when I saw that Trump pulled a Gingrich to CBN about his many marriages:

Donald Trump: Well, I really think I have a very good past. I've had a great success. I've had a lot of things. You could look at…the two failed marriages… I'm a very hard worker, and I've always said it's very difficult for a woman to be married to me because I work all the time. And you know what? That's what this country needs. This country needs somebody that's going to work. I've always said it was always very unfair for my wife because I work all the time.

He's working hard at something.
