The hate is world wide.
A man told today how he was shot three times in a London street for wearing a Barack Obama T-shirt.
Dube Egwuatu was buying a mobile telephone top-up card in an off-licence when the gunman confronted him and glared at the top, which carries an image of the Democrat US presidential candidate underneath the legend 'Believe'.
The man then launched into a tirade of racist slurs, shouting 'I f***ing hate n*****s' and urging 36-year-old Mr Egwuatu to leave the shop with him.

'I couldn't believe it was happening - and just because I was wearing an Obama T-shirt. He was trying to make me walk somewhere quieter, saying: 'I've got something for you,' and 'I'm going to kill you.'
He added: 'Obama inspires me, his educational track record alone is quite unbelievable - that is why I was wearing the T-shirt.
'I did not think for one minute it could stir up such powerful feelings of hatred and I never said a word to him.'

If you had read the article, you would have know it was a "gas-powered ball-bearing pistol" that was used which "can be bought easily in high-street shops and on websites" and "are often converted by criminals to fire real bullets."
In this case, the pistol hadn't been converted, otherwise we'd being reading about Dube Egwuatu's death, rather than his recovery.
London has a severe gun crime issue, despite guns being heavily restricted.

That's a pretty recent phenomenon though. I heard a few years ago it was related to eastern european crime syndicates moving in to the uk. Up until about 10 years ago handgun crime was almost extinct in england.

The people of Florida want justice and will not rest until justice is served by both the campaign which "aided and abetted incitement to violence", the Sheriff's badge, and the incarceration of the man who yelled "kill em" publicly. Anything short of that will not appease....and will, in fact, take on a life of it's own - legally and in the courts. The ACLU and every civil/human rights organization in this country is taking action against these McCain terrorist rallies.

Some facts:

The subtle racism of McCain/Palin's latest smears has the potential not only to make them dangerous but also to tilt the polls. In a vacuum, they do nothing but energize the base. But if, God forbid, bin Laden injects himself into this election like he did in 2004 via videotape or worse, the "ties to terrorists" claims take root. And a scared, panicked electorate will trust a crusty, old gigolo over a black man, every time.

What I find to be totally incongruous in viewing Sarah Palin's obvious taste for violence and her claim to femininity and motherhood is almost too hypocritical to even articulate.
How can this self-professed "mother" stand up there and condone hate threats from her audience?
How can this self-professed "christian" permit this type of divisive and hate-filled commentary during something where she's in charge? Doesn't this fall to the "enabling" mode somehow legally?
If she's not in charge during her rallies, then who is? The local police? Where were they during this death threat? Where were they when this sheriff made an obvious gesture toward incitement to riot? Where was our Patriot Act during these rallies?
I'd say that this activity either needs to be stopped entirely (no more hate rallies and incitement to domestic terrorist rallies) or we press local law enforcement to prosecute anyone even remotely connected with these public crimes immediately.
I believe this Sheriff in Florida owes the american people an explanation of his own antics while he set the tone for the violent death threats that ensued at his behest? I think he needs to surrender his badge immediately, that's what I think.
I'm sure we can locate his name and find his precinct to begin sending plenty of mail his way in protest for his "aiding and abetting" the domestic terrorist death threats which were made public during "his" rally in Florida.
Let's get busy....and keep checking back for this Sheriff's name and location.
It's time for every "human & civic rights organization" across this country to sit up and take notice of what's occurring with regularity during McCain & Palin's 'violence enciting rallies".

I am remembering that three Aryan Nation skin-heads arrested in Denver about the time of the Democratic Party Convention were perfectly honest about their intentions regarding assassinating Barack Obama. When the police processed them, the determination was made (publicly, at least) that the three were just screwed up on methamphetamine. "Nothing to see here, folks. Just move it along, now."
And yet, there were seven blacks being held in Miami on terrorism charges because they were just "shooting-the-breeze" talking big about "revolution" in front of an FBI/DHS informant. And six young men of Arab background being held in Northern Virginia as terrorists because ... why? -- they were playing paint-ball games of "capture-the-flag" out in the woods.
The NeoCon's October Surprise might have come early, as the Economic Meltdown. Or there may be a new domestic false-flag attack used to justify a new war in Iran, this time. But either BEFORE the elections, or BEFORE the inauguration, you can be pretty certain that there is a "Plan B" or even "Plan C" that does take into account the NeoCons aversion to having a BLACK DEMOCRAT becoming President. The three ass-hats arrested in Denver are only the tip of the iceberg.
