I'm not sure what exactly they did that got them unsubscribed by MSNBC--denigrating MSNBC with profanities or bloggers' uses of profanities in their posts?
Either way, not good news for freedom of speech.
@fastbeat: MSNBC sponsors a blog-ad network, and they're thinning out pottymouth sites like ours from their roster.
For me, this is a footnote to the Think Progress campaign against O'Reilly: On the whole, advertisers don't mind what vile bile you spew, as long as the numbers are there. But indulge in the Full Carlin, and suddenly they get their panties in a bunch.
an actual poll done by unbiased people!!

Faux numbers are actually quite staggering and fully explains Bush, Bush2, Raygun, Nixon, etc, etc.
Note especially the "evangelical" vote and "fight for my country--right or wrong" graphs.
Thanks, CC.
EDIT--holy crap, I just saw the evolution and "created in six days" ones at the bottom! No wonder we are so f*cked as a nation.
Just curious...
The O'Reilly, Manatee and Limbaugh group are quite the aging population.
There is hope.
That's interesting, although Stewart and Colbert are "fake news," so the comparison's a bit skewed. They do a much better job calling BS than most corporate media, of course, and comedians tend to be anti-authoritarian and thus liberal, but Stewart and Colbert mock Democrats, too, and the party division isn't as strong. But as Greenwald recently observed, rightwingers go more for the "my side, right or wrong" mentality than do liberals. Rightwing bloggers generally want the media to support their cause while liberal bloggers tend to want accuracy. Regardless, the demographic breakdowns are pretty interesting.
I think he got acquitted because they want to see O'Reilly's head explode on his next SMEAR FACTOR.
Can't confirm Dawn Johnsen - she might actually investigate war crime documents!
