Thanks for the roundup as usual!

Today is a day of mourning for con-servatives...

People that need help will get it...even if they have to pay an arm & a leg for it to private companies...until it is proven that they can't/won't keep costs down...

Its a first step, but hopefully one that has many to follow...

If you've never heard of Charles or David Koch, I wouldn't blame. While they do run the second largest private company in the US, they don't spend much money advertising the fact.
These oil barons do however spend a lot of money every year on organizations like Americans for Prosperity who attack the science of climate change and deny that it is happening.

On March 22, 1972, Congress sent the proposed Equal Rights Amendment to the Constitution to the states for ratification. It fell short of the three-fourths approval needed.

Are we sure? Check the lighting, it might just be the shadows or something.

I heard one republican say yesterday this president was the most pro-abortion president this country has ever had. Then I heard Bachmann this morning on fox say that this bill would pay for more abortions and the number of abortions would go up each year like 30% a year as a result.

I never watch Faux Nooz. Just for this very reason.
They lie.
But, since yesterday was a big day in politics, I figured I'd check them out to see what was happening.
Bachmann was on just drooling all over the place about more abortions.
She didn't disappoint.
More lies and bullshit.

When fox and friends came on this morning their faces looked like they had just attended a funeral. They were so concerned about the futures of the big insurance companies. They were worried they would go out of business because of the bill. Then I read a comment here at crooks and liars someone had left last night saying as a result of the bill, we would now be owned by the big insurance companies.

Way to early in the morning to be this dizzy.

Cornyn was just on Morning Joe and he seems to feel the repubs in the senate can muck up the bill therefore requiring it to have to go back to the House again. I hope he's just blowing smoke but I know they are going to give it a try.
