Why aren't these nuts embracing Obama? I mean the end of the world, their precious rapture, is at hand and they're complaining about it? I just don't get it?

The blog roundup always provides some great reading but I have to say I love the "Holy Crap!" entries. Thanks as always!

"The nosedive of doom"

The Nose-Plugs of Doom?

as the Democratic Congress and President slowly and surely address the economic disaster created by the GOP (AGAIN...when is America going to figure out that putting the GOP in charge of the government is like giving your 12 year old your credit card), the MSM will stop giving airtime to mental midgets like Grover Norquist and Hugh Hewitt.

These two men ARE like 12 year olds. None of what they believe in has any successful track record, and has led to economic contraction and financial ruin everytime it's been tried.

For the economic mess we're in:

And here is the left-wing journalist Robert Scheer opining the fact that Nader was right:

As to having Thanksgiving dinner with the Conservative relatives/friends, it's all good. You can reassure them that the left-wing blogosphere is basically meaningless to the Democratic Party:

Oh, man, that "Christians Against Cartoons" (in the Holy Crap section) HAS to be a spoof. As wacko as many Christians are, I can't believe this site is for real. It's hilarious!

I'm fortunate that my entire family is composed of liberals of various intensities. We are immigrants from Argentina and our parents are very familiar with fascism and official religions. The past eight years have been rough on us =) We are planning to celebrate Thursday by giving thanks for an electoral repudiation of the conservative mindset.

Ok...that was plain scarey.

Please...tell me this is a goof. Brother Cletus? C'mon...really.

It is to laugh. Of course I could wish he hadn't got the 666 tattoo on his left buttock. The FSM was equally disconcerted.

The right wing Christian nuts always make that claim against anyone that does not agree with them. Its funny though, if there was such a thing as an Anti-Christ would it not be logical to assume that this master of evil would come to earth as a picture perfect "Christian"? Nah, apparently the Anti-Christ isn't that bright just as "God" has difficultly expressing himself to others so the Christians have to do it for him.

Thanks for linking Sara's piece.

Christians Against Cartoons looks like a fun spoof, but it's not far off from the Satan in the Toy Box guy who a decade or so back claimed the Care Bears were promoting Buddhism and He-Man supplanted God's rightful place as the "Master of the Universe." These days, we have the anti-Harry Potter crowd.

)O(

Christians Against Cartoons is a gag site! If you click on the seemingly vile "God and Gays" link, it sends you to a twisted, hate-filled conversation between Jesus and an interviewer that is obviously meant to rub you the wrong way. These sites are supported by the site "BabySue" which is linked with dozens of faux christian websites. Don't take them seriously! You've been warned!
