Palin really thinks she is smarter than the rest of us. Read her illiterate e-mail, then contrast that with the thoughtful, erudite response from the editor. I don't this ageism has anything to do with it. I'm a "mature" person and she insults my intelligence. Although, I must admit she is the gift that keeps on giving. She's a moron and every time she opens her mouth, she just proves that point over and over and over again.

I have it on good authority that Trig is really Sara's baby after all but Todd ain't the baby daddy. And the kid's not a US citizen to boot.

Because her e-mail sounds as if she didn't even read the newspaper stories in question or quote them to back up her crazy arguments? The Anchorage Daily News deserves kudos for responding to her nutty "Is it true?" whining in a measured, reasonable way on its blog. She comes off as someone who is illiterate and uninformed, as someone who hasn't read "any of 'em, all of 'em" at ALL. Yes, the ADN tried to do a story on the crazy rumors about Trig's parentage to LAY THEM TO REST. And what does the governor do in response? Not provide proof or access so the rumors, like Obama's birth certificate rumor, can be laid to rest once and for all. All she needs to do is provide Trig's birth certificate. That's all.
She hasn't a clue about how newspapers work, so the rumor that she has a degree in journalism is, for me, not yet proven until I see that sheepskin.

...can obtain a college degree...me included. I have a friend who has two degrees, and the more you get to know him the more impossible it will be for you to believe this man's educational background.
She attended 6 schools, but did she finally graduate? She was doing so poorly at University that she was forced to go back to community college for a while.
Even if she does have a degree, it doesn't really mean anything. Afterall, what did she really do with it? Did she excel in her field?

Great link above. They bought Merill Lynch and all their troubled assets when B of A was supposedly barely liquid and full of troubled assets as well. Then they get billions from the Fed at first to purchase troubled asstes, no, scratch that, its cash for liquidity.
Then they turn to the FEDS and say "We can only stomach a few billion dollars in losses acquired from Merill Lynch. You, FEDS must pick up all the rest of the bad assets and we aren't even sure what they are worth.
This is the reason they don't want to give you details on the bailout funds. Kind of embarrassing, but intentional none the less.
...in these so-called "bailouts" will be embarrassed. That is one of the main traits of a sociopathic personality - no freakin' conscience and no shame. And all of these folks seem to qualify...the corporate guys and the government guys.

There would be plenty o' pain for the taxpayer but there at least could be transparency that way. Though with this crowd nothing is to be taken for granted.
