I know she is a spawn of Bush, but I at least would like to give her a chance to prove what kind of person she is through her actions. Kids rebel from their parents and deserve to be judged on their own merits and not that of their parents. Ofcourse, we know what kind of spawn Liz Cheney is and Bush is of his own father BUT Michelle Bachmann's son, Harrison Bachmann, joined Teach for America (TFA), one of the programs under the AmeriCorps umbrella which Michelle criticised calling it a "re-education camp" for government to push its own ideology.
I grew up with Republican parents, and I don't discuss politics with them because it is like talking to a brick wall. Let's see what Jenna brings to the table.

Let's see--at 27 she has at best 5 years of experience in the classroom. Yep--that makes her someone who can speak with authority of education. She, at 27 has LOTS of experience on women's issues. She wrote a children's book and her mother is a librarian. That makes her an expert on literature. Way to go NBC--you have just dumbed down the media/journalism even further.
Those two weeks in Bohemian Grove must have produced many such nepotistic hirings for the kids of Bushco.

to be fair, Ron Reagan Jr. was given his own show on MSNBC and is asked about issues all the time that his father was against. I've never personally heard the Bush daughters speak on issues directly, but it is possible they don't just blindly follow their father.
Liz Cheney being asked by George Stephanopolous on Sunday to comment on policies her father (and possibly herself as well) helped shape during the Bush years... well that was fundamentally stupid on George's part and once again proves that he's more hack than journalist.

I am currently going to graduate school for my Masters in Journalism and I get the strange feeling that finding a job in the field when I finish will prove to be just a little bit more difficult.
I love it that I live in such a meritocracy (for me that is. I have to be better than the next person to even get an interview, never mind an actual job) so that people like Jenna Bush can work hard to make good in their chosen profession (snark).
