The Zombies -- She's Not There

It's a funny thing. You would think if the nation was experiencing the largest solidarity movement for American workers all across all fifty states, that it might be informative for your viewers to have on people representing labor, unions or state employees...but they're not there. In fact, it was so pointedly slanted against offering a labor point of view (and I'm still looking at you, Bob Schieffer) that thousands of supporters took to Twitter and Facebook to ask producers to book labor representatives. But for the most part...they're not there.

The carnage in Libya has taken over the news cycle for Christiane Amanpour. She'll be in Tripoli, with an exclusive interview with Ghaddafi's son, Saif. Jake Tapper will be anchoring the roundtable, with a dismal option of listening to Governors Jan "I won't pay for heart transplants" Brewer and tea party pin up girl Nikki Haley. Meet the Press is the one outlet that paid grudging acknowledgment for a labor perspective by the late booking of Richard Trumka. MSNBC anchor Lawrence O'Donnell will also be making his debut at the roundtable. Maybe David Gregory will let him have the last word. And if it's Sunday, you know you're gonna see John McCain. Grampy McCrankypants will be on both Meet the Press and State of the Union. Think anyone is going to ask him how he feels about likely being a target of psyops to keep us in the Middle East? And the new rock star of the Republican Party gets Bob Shieffer's undivided attention, when NJ Governor Chris Christie gets to talk about the evils of honoring pensions and those no good teachers bankrupting his state, forcing him to turn down infrastructure stimulus money.
