Tears for Fears--Everybody Wants To Rule The World

Welcome to our lives and the people who want to rule our world. And it's not just the politicians (although, Michele Bachmann, bless her bat-sh#t crazy little heart does get a chance to shine on TWO shows this morning), it's the media as well. Look who they book, and how often. Listen to how they frame the interviews...oh yes, there's little doubt of exactly who they want to rule our world. Well, I guess there's no turning back. Mitch McConnell appears to be challenging John McCain on the number of times he can get booked on the Sunday shows. This time, he'll be on This Week. And the one GOP star *not* running for POTUS, Chris Christie will charm the pants off David Gregory on Meet the Press. Tea Party wacko Jim DeMint will get some air time with Candy Crowley--let's see who she's tougher on: DeMint or Nancy Pelosi. And Chris Matthews wants to know if his pundit buddies thinks that Obama has "beaten" the Democrats' "dovish" image. Oh yeah, everybody wants to rule this world.

ABC's "This Week" - Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell, R-Ky.; Rep. James Clyburn, D-S.C.

NBC's "Meet the Press" - Gov. Chris Christie, R-N.J.; Sens. Jack Reed, D-R.I., and Jim Webb, D-Va.

NBC's "The Chris Matthews Show" - Panel: Norah O'Donnell, Jack Ignatius, Michael Duffy and Helene Cooper. Topics: Is the president lagging the country on getting out of Afghanistan? Will the Tea Party get behind the winner, if it is Mitt Romney or Jon Huntsman? Meter Questions: Has President Obama Beat the Democrats' Dovish Image? YES: 11 NO: 1; Is Talking About A Positive Agenda on the Economy A Better Re-Election Strategy Than Straight Talk? YES: 8 No: 4.

CBS' "Face the Nation" - Rep. Michele Bachmann, R-Minn., a 2012 presidential candidate.

CNN's "State of the Union" - Sen. Jim DeMint, R-S.C.; House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi, D-Calif.; Rep. Mike Rogers, R-Mich.

CNN's "Fareed Zakaria GPS" - Afghan president Hamid Karzai.

So what's catching your eye this morning?
