I must be missing something.
up to the plate and prosecute?
http://www.consortiumnews.com/2008/123108a.html
all the people involved from both parties (mostly Republicans) covering up and making excuses, just what in hell will it take for justice to prevail? Are we too weak a nation to see them prosecuted?
We need a legal professional to put his or her career on the line. Though this rarely ever happens. Look at this guy, the one who prosecuted Charles Manson, "Vincent Bugliosi". Comes out with a book, 'Prosecution of George W Bush for Murder!' by Vincent Bugliosi.

Why does he not prosecute himself? Maybe he is no longer a member of the good old bar association, maybe he his, just not the one in the state this needs to be prosecuted in? If the facts are there and no qualified individual steps up, it frustrates me. Don't rock the boat is all I can think?
why Bugliosi does not bring this to court. I have an idea that whoever did would be no more.
What else can ya think? It's a shame... They should set up golden parachutes for the attorneys that take on such injustices.
others who've stepped up to testify or investigate (let alone prosecute) other high level crimes seem to have suddenly had "scandals" surrounding them or had untimely deaths by airplane, etc.
These people who run the government/world/financial cabals do not fool around. JFK, you may recall, actually made a speech about the dangers posed by these folks - the recording can be heard on youtube.
Reminds me of Victorian kaleidoscopes.
I was trying to think what it reminded me of.......outside of the bottom of the ocean (I wish) or an acid flashback!
Beautiful!
So which is Dale Chihuly a crook or a liar. I. don't. get. it.
He's a huckster.
Seriously, though, I got to see a really cool exhibit of some of his glass at the De Young museum in San Francisco during the summer. Some of it was pretty amazing stuff.
Next, Obama will pick Jimmy Walker to run HUD.
Women will shatter that sucker once and for all!

What did I ever do to you for you to subject me to that voice again?
Wire Paladin: First, they need a good female candidate.
Someone's a fan of that German film, the Edukators. Too bad not everyone can help the cause. Is justice around the corner for that lesbian gang-rape victim? Global warming cost Cali over $1 billion in fire prevention. Colleges don't like the idea of students being evaluated on only one set of SAT scores they pick individually, since, as most football and basketball teams know, college boards would never fast-track students who are only good in one area of expertise. Tracking the bail-out money is surprisingly difficult.
Thanks for the reminder of a great road trip with a dear friend who died last year. The importance of taking time out from being to serious and enjoying the beauty is one of the lessons she taught me. The Tacoma Museum of Glass is a great place to do this.
Thanks for reminding me to make time for my friends and my husband. He took our family to the Glass Museum several years ago as part of our Seattle vacation. The kids are older now and we haven't done anything like that in too long.
I stumbled across this and had not seen much coverage. I was wondering just what type of people would do this stuff? It seems Charlie Crist, Governor of the State of Florida is investigating?

...I thought the story was about the boys GHWB and his buds used to bring into the W.H., or Gannon and Foley or somethin'.
My God, sometimes we human being are so disgusting. Those poor boys, having to live the rest of their life with those horrifying memories. I bet that many of the boys from that hell hole ended up alcoholic or drug addicted. Doing whatever it takes to make the memories go away. It makes me sick to even think that anyone could ever consider doing that to the most defenseless among us.
..the bush crooks are PACKING their stuff as we blogg...yeahhhhh.
Toyota is moving on to solar power.
Great pix. Just saw a Dale Chihuly exhibit in Providence, RI over Christmas. Truly breathtaking.
I made some really BAD ASS vittles yesterday!
Fire roasted pork shoulder, collard greens, black-eyed peas, and jalapeno cornbread...everything but the corn bread was cooked outside...took alot of time, and alot of beer, but I saw it through to completion and total deeelishusness.
We had a beautiful Chihuly exhibit here in St. Louis at our Botanical Garden. It ran for almost a year, and he left a few pieces here for us to enjoy in posterity.
I have some really beautiful pictures from a day my family and I went, and wish I could post a few here.
I have a history of people in my friends and family who are glass workers. Most in the stained glass field. Blown glass is a wonderous thing. When you watch it being done, it is like a living thing emerging from a cocoon. Then once the object is made, you have a wonderful object that is strong and also incredibly fragile.
Chihuly's outside pieces are incredibly strong. I'm sure he uses some kind of tempering process, but it is incredible to live in an area, know what kind of weather these pieces are subjected to, and know that they have survived.
